Mar 18th 2011 3:29PM I don't agree with this article at all but I kind of agree with what you're saying.
Tanks have the luxury of being able to make mistakes purely because they are the focus of the beakers attention and it gets caught up. And realistically being a tank or melee dps it's much more difficult to watch for things happening because of all the action going on around you in my opinion.
As a ranged dps if you've truly commuted your keybinds to muscle memory and don't have to watch little spinning bars on your cast bars then you can mitigate a lot of incoming damage. As far as difficulty goes ranged was the easiest of the raiding roles I've been. Healing has a similar issue as to what you're getting at in this article except that when they have to move someone might die instead of losing a few numbers on a dps meter.
Feb 25th 2011 3:11PM I think you missed what I said at the end. As long as he did not log onto Alts and continue to harass then I don't have a problem. Sorry if it sounded confusing.
Feb 25th 2011 10:27AM I 100% agree with robin and what remorseful did. Remorseful did not create alta to bug the kid I actually doubt he would have he merely threatened to. If it bothered this kid he would have logged off.
Also sorry Lisa but your kids are exposed to much worse they do hang with kids with foul language and they may or may not have partaken in it as well. What kid was the last kid to tell their parents 100% truth. And we are somehow relying on their judgement on what is a bad kid. Tommy who talks about drugs is a bad kid but Jane who talks about what she does with boys afterschool is ok she's my friend.
Overall as log as you didn't go to other logins to harass I'm fine with this because I don't believe you truly would have.
Feb 16th 2011 12:26PM I have had people in pvp gear in my heroics and I didn't notice until I inspected them.
At some point we who live for PvE also have to consider the time we waste for those who PvP hen we show up in our heroic blues and are burned down in seconds while the other team captures our objectives.
Feb 3rd 2011 11:49AM I am not sure why some of these posts were down voted.
It's true that when you come close to downing progression bosses the thought if a few percentage points of hp can be attributed to players not properly prepared for progression raid.
That being said the poster did state his guild was one of the better casual guilds so it should be expected not to be slamming through cataclysm content. If you were unable to down sindragosa in wrath then there are numerous encounters that will be nigh impossible for a casual guild.
If you're disappointed about your current progress in cataclysm you may have to join a true raiding guild however you will find that playing your favorite sub par spec in the eyes of those elitist mathematicians wont hold up in such a serious atmosphere.
Jan 9th 2011 10:34AM I aim to kill things as quickly as possible. When I recently leveled my Mage prior to cataclysm I tried frost and switched to arcane and was able to kill things very quickly and keep mana up while keeping them slowed through my main spell. While survivability is great I think whatever kills things fastest and keeps you going with the least down time is the way to go
Dec 16th 2010 4:16PM I agree 100% with this article. From leveling 80-85 on a character I never played at all prior to this expansion I was able to earn over 14,000 gold just for giving up ore and gems that I knew I would use to level jewelcrafting. By the time I actually get around to leveling it ore and gems are not likely to have increased in price but actually decreased so I feel like I invested my ore in the auction house :)

I find it funny your list includes gearscore as a necessary addon.
