Aug 12th 2010 10:06PM Toad Hollow - Risque.

I demand only the Exceptional and have a hard time swallowing most wines or champagnes. Risque, however, is super smooth, has a great bubble to it - very airy - and smells/tastes amazing.

I definitely deny the chaff outside of Toad Hollow.

'Bob's Game' dev confines self in Nintendo protest {Joystiq}

Dec 22nd 2008 6:37PM Funny thing is, Bob... say Nintendo allows you to file and lease an NDS dev kit (which is just software and a dongle with card reader for the DS... any DS)...

You still have to cert. That'd be pretty FAIL if you spent all that time not designing to spec per PG.

Part of the lease also indicates a secured publisher. Sorry man - but really, someone here said you start small and work up.

I couldn't agree more. You may disagree, but the impression you give (and perception is EVERYTHING in this industry) is that you want this your way (seemingly, the easy way) or you'll just lock yourself up and stamp your feet (effectively what you're doing now).

Easy is, believe it or not, getting in bed with a developer/publisher and pitching.

I was razz'ing you about the PG cert stuff - but when you think about it... you know how much it costs to cert? And then re-cert if you fail? That's something you pick up by working from the ground up.

In this economy (especially)... you are only giving people more reason not to give you a chance. You'd rather deprive the world of your game than actually work for it.

Adventures in Beta: Five things to pack for TBC (and five things to leave at home) {WoW}

Jan 4th 2007 9:26PM This site just needs more visitors who frequent end-game content _as it is introduced_, not years later.
I mentioned specifically T1 but Thott beta or no, anyone stating your T2 is replaced by greens at mid 60's is definitely not a raider in any good guild, period. Not to mention set bonuses, etc. And how about you hit 70, as I did, and raid with end game guilds, as I did, in beta AND research a bit more thoroughly _and_ actually know your class and the people you will be playing with before you spout off saying "You will be mocked in T3 at l70".

That right there discredits anything you'll ever post here ever again, ever.

Have fun: worldofraids.com (where this site gets most of its news from...)

Adventures in Beta: Five things to pack for TBC (and five things to leave at home) {WoW}

Jan 4th 2007 11:38AM You will not replace _any_ epic with any green, ever until at the very least, level 70. Trinkets excluded - and even then, you probably had crap trinkets to begin with.

Deny it all you want or argue otherwise... spend a few minutes doing your research before posting that kind of rubbish and you'll see how wrong you are making that statement. T1 excluded. And even then, Heroic mode.

I repeat, you will _not_ replace anything epic ever with a green until the very least, you hit level 70.

Nov 27th 2006 8:52PM How about getting a haircut in the game? Fable handled this well.

Additionally, Tattoos would be sweet.

Perhaps a whole new skill/job? Tattoo artist FTW!

Forum Post of the Day: Please open the AQ gates... {WoW}

Nov 26th 2006 4:36PM Uhhh...

Is is just me or is everyone missing the glaringly obvious position Blizzard will take in response to this?

If said guild(s) cannot even bet Ragnaros, what chance do they stand in AQ20/AQ40?

I could understand AQ20 maybe... but why do this if they haven't even proven worthy of besting the first raid instance in the game that supports 40 players? It's ridiculous and they should just quit whining and do it like everyone else had to - the right way.
