Mar 23rd 2012 10:23PM I think I´m about to like Jaina a lot more. :D
Mar 23rd 2012 7:42PM Your post is sensible, but there are 2 different problems at stake here:
1) the technical aspect of beta testing a game and server capacity, and insuring a quality final product;
2) selling something that you at some point find you are unable to deliver;
These 2 have different implications, the first one technical, the second one legal. While it makes sense from a technical perspective to give beta acess in waves, from a legal perspective its a mess and makes them liable to being sued (remember there are many different countries where ppl bought the annual pass with different consumer laws). The sensible thing to do would be to not launch the beta without taking measures to safeguard against the legal implications. And for the ppl that keep saying things like "the servers would crash", "i didnt get the annual pass for the beta", thats all fine, but that is not the point, the point is that a product was sold and a contract made - and no, you cant change the terms of the contract like that after the payment has been made, and implied meaning has legal weight, at least where i live.
Mar 14th 2012 5:37PM I´m betting it´s the new tauren model, notice how the two figures have different horns (like a costumization option), why would they go to the trouble of creating new models that are clearly superior to the actual taurens we have now, just for them to end up being some new npc race? Wouldn´t make any sense.
Mar 13th 2012 12:59PM Best comment ever! :D I can see it now too...
Mar 13th 2012 12:52PM I'm all for murlocs being a playable race in a future expansion! :D

Feb 3rd 2012 10:28AM Just curious: does anyone have experienced the "uber pvp leet player" who goes into LFD with a "know it all" attitude but really doesnt know a lot about PVE.
I ask because I just had one of the most horrible pugs ever the other day, we were running Well of Eternity, and this warrior tank at some point starts trying to kick the healer, at first i didnt make much of it because the healer clearly was struggling, we wiped 2 times and eventualy the kick passed. New healer, things go ok, we get to the last part of the dungeon, the tank starts calling the new healer a noob without any apparent reason, then i pick aggro (as a dk) on the big demon pack, i step back a little and the guy instead of doing his job and taunting the mobs just lets them come after me, and then goes on another insult tirade. He keeps at this for the whole instance, attacking me and the healer and calling us noobs, i do my best not to answer, but it really came to a point where he was insulting me for not gemming for stamina, that was the tipping point.
Anyways, long story short, do good pvp'ers tend to carry an attitude, in your experience? Its not the first time i have had a bad experience in a pug and then go check the armory and the guy is an item level 400+ pvp'er. It just really pissed me for the rest of the evening.
Dec 18th 2010 9:37AM I also think it made most ground mounts obsolete, its a pitty you'll never again see a ground mount after you get flying.
Dec 5th 2010 2:24PM SInce you asked, no you shouldn't. Now do as you´re told and don't level it.
Nov 10th 2010 9:22AM Not really a good excuse, I buy books from the amazon american website all the time and, trust me, when my credit card gets charged in euros it is not the same numerical ammount as the price in dollars that was marked in the first place. So its not really a good point you´re making. I don´t hear any news about amazon going bankrupt either.
And yes there is use in complaining when something seems fishy, if enough ppl complain about something and are congruent in the actions they take (not buying it) sometimes it has an effect in changing the thing that is the cause for complaint.
