Feb 28th 2011 10:48PM Cataclysm class balance can be summed-up by three words: "F**k you, druids."
Feb 10th 2011 11:34PM Everyone who cries about not having their easy epics in Cata heroics should be forced to read these patch notes.
Feb 3rd 2011 6:50PM AoE looting sounds like a nice (yet very minor) improvement. Honestly I don't like the idea of public quests. One of the most irritating parts of questing is trying to find people for the group quests that already exist. It slows your leveling to a halt and they're just not fun. The wardrobe option is nice, but I'm not sure how it would go over. Many people really enjoy showing off the armor they've worked hard to acquire. When everyone just looks however they want it takes something away from the gearing experience.
Feb 2nd 2011 3:29AM My buddy has been trying Rift out. He says its "A little like WoW. ...ok a LOT like WoW. Why am i playing this instead of WoW?"
Jan 19th 2011 4:40AM The lack of epic items in heroics is intentional and isn't likely to change. They want epic to mean something again. Maybe sometime down the line they'll add a loot-pinata instance like ToC to help fresh 85s catch up with their T11 friends, but it won't be for at least a full raiding tier into the expansion. Maelstrom Crystals--like the loot they shard from--are meant to require effort to obtain this early in the game.

Seriously? Even if they hadn't done this, the price of those crystals is not going to remain high for long anyway. More and more guilds are stepping into raids and that means more crystals on the market. This seems like a pretty fleeting trend to go through all the trouble of re-rolling your professions over. You made a rather large and risky investment and it didn't pan-out. Deal with it.
Dec 17th 2010 8:57AM I started out horde and for a while really liked them. Then things like the Broken Front and the Wrathgate started happening. After that there was Ashenvale and Stonetalon. Once I saw what became of Hillsbrad foothills I lost any spark of sympathy for the Horde. I play Alliance now and I love it.
Dec 12th 2010 8:02PM The night elves that were killed were skinned, mutilated and its hinted that they were raped. Thrall's response isn't reasonable. Its insane and another one of his long line of bad choices that have only made the peace agreements dissolve faster. He may have good intentions, but he was never really fit to lead. He was much too young and had absolutely no experience.
Dec 10th 2010 4:17AM Not a fan of the singing. You can tell he's straining to make his voice sound like this. It doesn't sound good. It sounds like someone's standing on his jibblies. If he'd stop trying to sound like generic emo leadsinger #348 it would be a nice song.
Dec 5th 2010 8:36AM The truth is Blizzard could keep 100% of the profit and plenty of people would still buy it. They don't have to do this. It isn't a moneymaking ploy because they don't need one. As for everyone saying "just give to the charity directly" I have to wonder how many checks you've made out to the Make a Wish Foundation recently. I'm betting its not a lot. I'm betting most of us haven't ever given to this foundation directly. I'm betting a good portion of us haven't given to ANY charity directly. This is generating a lot of money for a very worthy cause that otherwise wouldn't have been donated. If you are one of the few who give directly to foundations like this one, then please keep up the good work. If you're not, then please don't bash blizz or the people buying this for wanting to make a small difference.
