Mar 20th 2012 7:41PM while I didn't play endgame until late BC, I've played wow off and on since the beginning and I've always been a demo lock. In BC when i finally started trying to do endgame, I was scoffed and laughed at for trying to raid with an inferior spec, I remember several distinct moments when someone in a heroic or pug might comment on my low dps and many times someone else would come to the defense with the line, "It's not really his fault, he's a demo lock."
I was really happy with wrath onwards and it getting buffed. I've been pretty consistently my guild's top 1-3 DPS ever since mid wrath as demo. Although, the upcoming changes to a more melee version does raise an eyebrow on how well it will actually work out...
Feb 15th 2012 1:25PM I don't know too much about dragons, just that my mom put a couple on the computer.
Nov 11th 2011 11:19AM I've thought about the hit thing and my opinion is that they imagined increasing required hit would make it even harder for casual or slower people to get geared enough to be able to do forelands/ds, as doing previous content would probably be more required for the higher hit gear or they lose a lot of stats to gem and reforge to new hit cap. On the flip side, you would have high endgame people who min/max that are going to have this massive headache of stat changing depending on what raid tier they're doing. And in general it's just a huge headache to have to know you need 17% for bot, bwd, and to4w, while you need 19% (random number) for fire lands, and you need 21% for ds. This would be especially harder on newer people coming along after 4.3 and don't know how raid tiers are split.
Nov 8th 2011 12:19AM I imagine he'll stop after first heroic kill. Interestingly on PTR if you die to fire attacks on the 7th boss fight you get the feat, which is probably a bug.
Nov 7th 2011 1:44PM I would like to see an actual small confrontation with the titans before the full scale titan expansion, to get a hint and setup of what's to come when we meet them.
I don't think they're going to be as good and on our side as we think they are.
What I imagine would be in one of the expansions before, we have something wonky going on in the area around one of the titan strongholds, so in a raid we go to explore it and find a noobie small time Titan there, maybe injured or lost, trying to restore themselves or get off azeroth using the titan tech (Which hurts our planet to use), so we learn a little about what the titans think of us and what they're doing or planning, and we are forced to kill this small titan.

So, we know originally Firelands was to go in 4.1, it was pushed to 4.2 and now we have Dragon Soul in 4.3 to end the expansion. I've been wondering, what do you think the original raid plan was for Cata? I doubt Dragon Soul was going to be 4.2, I think it was always intended for 4.3. My personal best guess based off early comments and rumors is that 4.2 was going to have End Time + old classic tuned to heroic, with Well of Eternity fleshed out to a full raid. Then in 4.3 we'd see the last Twilight 5 man + another classic tuned heroic with Dragon Soul. Of course, there was also all of the early talk that they wanted to do a lot of Vash.

So, with the concept of Silhouettes now out the window, do you think the chances are good of either a paid service or epic quest line to let people change allegiances without changing races? I know the question has been asked many times in the past, and if I'm not mistaken, their typical answer is no to preserve silhouettes.
Oct 25th 2011 2:13PM Did you guys see the blue post last night in the topic about level 100? It pretty much confirmed stats and item levels are being retooled in 5.0 to not be as ridiculous as they are now. But how much deflation do you think they'll give us in stats? It seems like a major change as it would also require retooling all NPCs as well.

I love the steampunk style of wow. I was wondering if there was any transmorg gear we know of off hand that could help get a steampunk look to go along with the good ole engineer goggles? (I'm a Lock, so cloth only)
Oct 7th 2011 4:47PM That's suppose to be can resist...
Also makes me wonder, have they done any "know your lore" on the main classes in general? Their history, and prominently know members of the class through history ?
