Feb 2nd 2012 10:12AM It appears to me that you have been very lucky whilst Anthony has not been. The "socially avoidant" problem was something he encountered at sixth form and he has now turned around. How many DJs do you know who are anti-social? I know from personal experience that Warcraft provides a "safe haven" when RL is kicking your behind. It can also give you the self-confidence and self-awareness to realise that you're stuck in a rut and give you the strength to get out of it. Bravo to you for managing your time so well, but a bigger Bravo to Anthony for having the strength of character to recognise his situation and the courage to change it.
Jan 10th 2012 8:23AM Merrymaker. Could change to Matron shortly.
Dec 13th 2011 8:18AM I have never liked Brann. I feel he is likely responsible in some 'digging too deep' way for most of the trouble we encounter in Azeroth, every time he turns up you know you're in trouble. If they were going to 'off' a Bronzebeard it should have been him, not Magni.
Dec 8th 2011 8:13AM I was a complete MMO noob till Warcraft so I had no idea what the classes, races or factions really meant, I'm not even sure I read the flavour text at that point. The only thing that I understood was that a warrior ran up and hit things, so I rolled a human warrior and named her after a Greek goddess. I've since played every class at least to level 10ish but I still go back to melee classes. My main is a DK, but I have a secret stash of rogues and two warriors plus a feral kitty druid. I just can't make a paladin work for me though.
Nov 7th 2011 8:14AM I've dabbled in writing some fanfic. I focus on my main char since I reason I should know her the best and at the moment am at the beginnings of a story about her reconciliation with her past. I stick it on my blog and anyone who wants to read it is welcome to do so. I did a few 'stand-alone' pieces to start with and wasn't so happy with the 2nd one so am taking my time to develop this story.
I read bits and pieces around the internet but most of my inspiration comes from being in the Azeroth itself.
Nov 3rd 2011 9:15AM I took a short vacation earlier this year but came back on a on an FTP account and whaddaya know I've resubbed. My playstyle has changed but I still enjoy it. I missed the /g chat and the silliness of my friends in Azeroth.
Damn It Warcraft! I just can't quit you!
Oct 25th 2011 8:28AM I have to agree with you, I am frothing at the mouth and I'm finally excited for MoP. I'm Alliance (with a dabble in the horde every now and then). I've read about MoP feeling kind of 'meh' about it all. Yeah. Not any more.
You will take Theramore over my no-living dead body! You can keep Southshore, you can keep Lordaeron now you've defaced and defiled it, hell you can even have Gilneas much as it pains me to give it to you. But you won't take another inch. I'll be there at the gates, great big silly sword in hand and I'll wait quietly until you're ready to be slaughtered and sent back to your god-forsaken hell hole.
FOR LOTHAR! FOR LORDAERON! FOR THE ALLIANCE!
Oct 21st 2011 8:09AM I too think MoP is a GIANT (off hand- just for frills) red herring.
I expect Metzen to tell us that Thrall is a Titan.
Oct 17th 2011 11:43AM And he said no? Oh man. Gutted!
Oct 17th 2011 11:41AM Right now she is, but Anduin could credibly be being groomed into the role for the future after his experiences with Baine.
