Nov 26th 2010 10:35PM I wish Blizzard would give moonkins as much love and attention as wow.joystiq.com does :(
Nov 17th 2010 6:43AM "But it is like giving the child who couldn't do the chore Candie while the one who stuck to it didn't get any."
3 Things wrong (for lack of a better word) with your point of view:
1. You imply that WoW is a chore, which it isn't (or shouldn't be), so said child would deserve to be given candy for doing something he/she found tedious and uninteresting.
2. The reward players get from Blizzard is the continuation of the enjoyable experience that the game provides you (or should provide you).
3. 'CANDIE' is a clothing shop, most notable for selling shoes during the 80's. 'CANDY', on the other-hand, is a rich sweet made of flavoured sugar, often combined with fruit or nuts and given as a reward to children who complete chores.
I'll stop now, as this reply is growing waffly and out of context.
Oh, one more thing:
"It is like giving the child who couldn't play WoW candy while the one who stuck with it is having such an insurmountably good time that he wasn't even aware of the fact that he wasn't getting candy." (That's my view on things)
P.S. Have a look at the book 'IS GREED GOOD?' By fictional author 'Gordon Gekko'.
P.S.2. On another note, you may want to discard everything I have written seeing how Blizzard has taught us that greed, is in fact, good, and everything Eregos ftw! has said may merely be a reconjurement (is that a word??) of some knowledge implanted in his brain through endless and inept play of the Warcraft 3 campaign... To be continued...
