World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria announced {WoW}

Oct 21st 2011 2:49PM Can confirm its real. Seems crazy - pandaren? monks? things Blizz have always said NO CHANCE to - but its verified.

Blood Sport: Gearing up for arena, Cataclysm edition {WoW}

Jan 4th 2011 6:31PM And on our realm, horde have it 90% of the time. Even when win trading was popular, most of the horde side wasn't competent enough to know about it, so no freebie honor for us.

As a human, my racial is basically a free PVP trinket - is it worth getting an actual trinket, just for some resilience? I'm pretty skeptical about the value of 1% damage reduction, or something silly like that.

Lichborne: Pre-heroic Cataclysm gear for DPS death knights {WoW}

Dec 14th 2010 7:38PM The previous UH DK thread on EJ is still there with all the reference gear lists for pre-heroic and pre-raid:

Hope that helps!

The Queue: Make a note {WoW}

Dec 9th 2010 2:38PM I completed the Hatchling a short time ago and yeah, I was around that level of Archaeology too. I assume most rewards are random but its possible that there may be fixed milestones here and there, for example everyone getting the Hatchling as their next fossil once they pass 100 or so.

^ Small typo, but otherwise a great bunch of info :)

Scattered Shots: Leveling a Cataclysm hunter, part 2 {WoW}

Dec 6th 2010 10:14AM I think he meant that MM would be the preferred spec from 80-85, whereas BM is more friendly for the lower levels.

Scattered Shots: Leveling a Cataclysm hunter, part 2 {WoW}

Dec 6th 2010 10:12AM This. I'm levelling a hunter in full heirlooms too, and tried all trees out.

First BM, as the traditional levelling spec - waiting for my pet to reach my target and use Kill Command was too slow and worthless when my Arcane Shots were doing far better damage, in less focus and time.

MM's Aimed Shot - too slow, far too slow. Two Arcane Shots in the same amount of time killed a mob anyway.

I'm now levelling as SV, and as much as I hate the incredibly boring looking talent tree it has (traps this, traps that, stuff I'll never use...), Explosive Shot is an instant and very damaging shot. Perfect for people with overpowered heirloom bows.

All the World's a Stage: Roleplaying the climb to 85 {WoW}
