Blizzard to offer compensation for PVP Season 10 transition woes {WoW}

Jul 9th 2011 12:59AM While it's fine getting 4k honor back, that's not really the biggest issue for me. It's really the small fortune I spent on gems and enchants for two full sets of season 9 vicious gear that pisses me off. I went for the most expensive enchants because I fully expected to keep that gear for a while - certainly longer than a couple of weeks.

Cataclysm Post-Mortem: Vashj'ir page 2 {WoW}

Jun 15th 2011 8:57PM My experience with Vashj'ir was almost the opposite of the reviewers in this article. I loved the 3D-feel of the underwater world and I hope Blizzard will make more of that.

But I absolutely hated the battlemaiden quest series. It was tolerable the first time I did it. However, the problem with this kind of quest is that it is basically identical every time - no matter what class you play. When I choose to play a class, I want to play that class and not something else.

Arcane Brilliance: Do mages need to be hit-capped? {WoW}

May 28th 2011 9:29PM What about heroics? I often hear people say that hit chance is not important in heroics. But they never explain why. Don't bosses in heroics also count as three levels higher than you?

Interact with target keybind gets you past players atop NPCs {WoW}

Dec 15th 2010 10:04PM Well you cannot target the bobber. Maybe the mouse-over keybinding will work. But I'm not sure how much use that would be.

Loremaster achievement changes coming with Cataclysm {WoW}

Nov 21st 2010 11:54PM Requiring a minimum amount of quests in each zone does not make it easier. In fact, it probably makes it harder. Right now you are free to choose from all quests in each of Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor. With the upcoming changes, you have less freedom in which quests you decide to do.

But it will probably not make a huge difference. That depends entirely on how many quests are required for each zone and how many "surplus" quests there are.

Psychologically, it may feel easier though since it's nice to know when you have completed a zone with respect to the achievement.
