Captain's Log: A year in review {Massively}

Feb 5th 2012 1:34AM I would definately recommend spending the time to find a good Fleet. Space is much less empty when you have a bunch of friendly and helpful people to spend your time with.

Other than that, loving my Odyssey (set it up as a PvP healer build atm) and really looking forward to all the new shinyness coming up :)

Star Trek Online handing out Odyssey starships for its second anniversary {Massively}

Jan 24th 2012 6:49PM @Joaquin Crowe Ahh, but on top of the ship, you will get an (as yet unnanounced) prize, every day you log in, for 4 days! Exciting!

Star Trek Online opens character transfers to the test server {Massively}

Oct 18th 2011 10:02PM @JonBuck Characters will not be deleted.

If you remain a Subscriber (Gold), you keep everything you have, and do not lose anything. Marks and badges get converted to Dilithium (the new currency) automagically.

If you stop subscribing, to continue playing you must convert that character to a Silver character, which will then lose...something, which has not yet been specified.

However, it will probably be limited to what is on the F2P matrix on the main site.

Star Trek Online's free-to-play starships prepare to leave spacedock {Massively}

Oct 14th 2011 1:17AM @Kaahn Stewart Its not pay to win. The ships arent that much better, and if you want to not spend any money at all, you need only trade Dilithium for C-Points and bam, free C-store ship.

Captain's Log: The voices of reason {Massively}

Oct 13th 2011 7:42PM It's getting there. I've been a lifer since launch and I doubt many other game companies Cryptic's size could pump out new features like this.

The game has changed so much since launch, and I am really looking forward to what the game looks like at its "re-launch". Should be quite epic :)

Theres still a few things that are...not so good, but from what I can tell, they are working on it (Skill revamp for one).

Star Trek's Online path to F2P delves into Lore Missions {Massively}

Oct 8th 2011 2:54AM @yeppers That is in game at Starfleet Academy. With F2P they have an event there every few hours where you run around collecting particle traces, which is hilarious lol.

Also lots of neat Duty Officer assignments hooked up there.

Captain's Log: Testing out the future {Massively}

Oct 7th 2011 12:54AM @(Unverified) The DOFF assignments only roll the outcome when they complete, so they couldn't tell you what is happening.

Star Trek Online bringing the Klingons into the free-to-play test realm {Massively}

Oct 5th 2011 11:18PM @Skyydragonn You should see how much of the community is behind this and testing away. The Test server currently has more users than on live. It feels like a rebirth of STO, and I am loving it.

Captain's Log: Class spotlight - Engineer {Massively}

Sep 15th 2011 6:29PM @Luxxicon I'm currently in a Tactical Escort Retrofit (Defiant).

Engineers make some of the best escort pilots as they can still dish out the damage, while also having good survivability.

Will fly the Ent-F when it comes out :)

Captain's Log: The Gospel of Tribble {Massively}

Jun 16th 2011 7:40PM @Kark So WoW doesn't have bugs? SW:TOR won't have bugs?

Software always has bugs. Code is evil, and has a mind of it's own, when you fix one thing, another thing breaks. It is nigh impossible to make software "perfect", especially when you keep adding new stuff.
