Jun 19th 2011 9:15AM Yes... Battle for Undercity is one of the things I miss the most.
The thing about Wrath (and BC) content is that we are currently asked to think outside the current storyline - we're seeing events as they happened in the past. Garrosh is in Nagrand in Outland as a whiny little thing, not the Warchief currently reigning over the Horde. And the same in Borean Tundra, Garrosh is there leading the Horde armies. Arthas is very much alive and reigning as the Lich KIng. These are all images of the past, along with all the quests and content still in Outland and Northrend. I would think that by asking us to suspend our ideas of linear timelines as we level, Blizzard could have left the battle for Undercity in the game with the understanding that it's yet another glimpse into past events.
Jun 6th 2011 11:19AM I've often heard that one obstacle of implementing naga as a playable race is figuring out gear models. However, if you check out the naga in Cataclysm, especially in Vashj'ir during the attunement quests, you'll see naga sporting many different gear types, often resembling some of our BoA gear models. Naturally, boots and legplate would have to be completely redesigned for naga, or just don't visibly show those models at all, as they do with several races boots already.
So maybe Blizzard is testing the waters in that direction?
