Is it time to kill tanking? {WoW}

Aug 27th 2011 3:00PM come on rossi.... you're better than this

Breakfast Topic: Is transmogrification bringing you back? {WoW}

Aug 27th 2011 2:58PM It actually turns me off from coming back. I hate microtransitions and I've always thought the idea was tacky. Plus people have been asking for it since launch, I feel like it's too little too late.

Breakfast Topic: How was your first Cataclysm heroic group? {WoW}

Feb 11th 2011 8:22AM exactly the same for me.

Scattered Shots: What other classes should know about hunters {WoW}

Feb 7th 2011 11:35AM Also, when a tank is holding aggro, the only person he has to beat is the seconds highest in threat. It's not like there is this enormous sum of threat between all players that the tank has to overcome which is added on by a pet with growl.

Feb 7th 2011 11:34AM A taunt is something that completely overrides the current highest threat on the target and forces the mob to attack you. Growl does no such thing.

Feb 7th 2011 11:33AM I never have issues with this because I'm still trained in the ways of the old days. Pull aggro and set a trap in front of you. That's my failsafe to the ever-present "Hunter trap square *pulls*"... therefore I have no problems ever ever unless something ridiculous happens (such as the tank taunting off of me or the mob being a caster that hasn't been interrupted or silenced... and if the latter is the case, I wouldn't need to pull the old way anyways because the mob would stay where it is).

That's why I don't find it such a big deal when tanks just pull after telling me to cc something. It makes things exciting sometimes.

The Queue: The one with a bird on it {WoW}

Feb 2nd 2011 1:05PM @MattKrotzer , I more so meant someone of the WoWInsider staff from MA. To me, yes, that is shocking. :D

If it were some random person in the comments I wouldn't have been nearly as excited.

Feb 2nd 2011 12:09PM Also, might I add that a good way to find a good player is saying "looking for a good fit" and checking out their Armory and comparing their claims with actuality. Usually people who are honest about their raiding experience and can tell you a good deal about their class's rotation and mechanics are great fits for a raid absent a last pro dps.

Feb 2nd 2011 12:06PM Holy moly, someone else from MA :D

Blizzard on 2200 rating PvP weapon availability {WoW}

Jan 26th 2011 9:39PM I feel really bad saying this, but I've been an avid WoW.com/WoW Insider reader and listener for years now (going on three?) and I feel that you guys may be slipping a tad bit behind on the speed of getting information to us.

It may just be me more actively searching for it, but it's scaring me. :/ I love you guys.
