Apr 3rd 2012 12:23PM I disagree that ppl will expect you to be competant in the heal or tanking role. We have a spriest, Kitty and a frost DK in our raid group and we don't expect anything more from them because we know that's whet they want to do. No one will force you to try something you don't want to do, and that shouldn't change.
I'm all for the change because I used to be a rogue, but because I was forced to only Dps, and wanted to try tanking or healing I had to switch mains in Cata, leaving a class I loved behind because it was only Dps.
Mar 30th 2012 6:21PM Agreed. We fought deathwing but I was disappointed he didn't fight back. Also, the fact that madness of deathwing was 15 minutes long didn't help either.
Mar 30th 2012 6:17PM I was disappointed at normal difficulty because many guilds on my realm did finish off Deathwing in the first week. But my largest disappointment was that deathwing never fought back. We only fought adds on his back, or killed his tentacles and beat his exhausted face. That's part of what made the lich king fight so great. His abilities as well as the adds.
Mar 30th 2012 2:16PM Couldn't have said it better myself.
Mar 30th 2012 2:14PM Whoops, this was supposed to be a reply to ray.
Mar 30th 2012 2:13PM Why? Searching through a bunch of NPC's to find the one you need to talk to is tedious, not difficult. People may want leveling to be a challenge, but no one wants it to be tedious. That's why they redid the 1-60 leveling. I'm all for making certain quests with mobs that are difficult to solo for the challenge, but I don't want to be reading on wowhead where the coordinates to that "book" I'm supposed to find because it blends in.
Mar 30th 2012 2:07PM Quest givers already have yellow "!" over their heads, and the same goes for the folk you hand them into except with a "?". Imagine what it would be like without those. Every gathering quest has the items sparkle for you, so I don't know how this is any different except they are implementing it in the 4th expansion. You still have to go do it yourself, just now you don't have to go to WoWhead to find out where exactly the NPC is, you can just see it in game like you should be able to anyway.
Mar 28th 2012 2:05PM Should also try it next to one of the aspects in DS. It wont allow you to turn into thrall or ysera but it will turn you into a random race and outfit. Getting turned into a goblin fishermen and fighting ultra is fun. I only wish the effect lasted longer.
Mar 27th 2012 9:10AM Yes! I need to know what cool things are coming so I know what professions to make my monk!
Mar 20th 2012 10:17AM One of the video interviews I saw said that mounts were next and they hoped to release that in a patch if it wasn't ready for launch.
