Mar 28th 2012 1:25AM June? I'm thinking September at least, only because the Jaina Proudmore book is set for August. Remember, Shattering was the lead in for Cataclysm, so I suspect the same will be true here. Could be as late as October.
Besides, they would not release Diablo III and MoP so close together. They'd glut the players time and both games would suffer. Diablo III will get the summer and we'll see MoP in the fall.
Mar 27th 2012 6:30PM What I REALLY have my fingers crossed on is the introduction of the Lorewalkers. As I understand the preview information correctly, certain Archaeology items can be turned in to the Lorewalkers and that will trigger a cutscene event for you to actually see the history. Right now, it's only for the Panderan, but imagine if it were expanded to other races. In theory, might even be possible to see events that were in Vanilla or elsewhere that were removed, but people might like to see the events (The Great Masquerade, AQ events, etc.).
Hope springs eternal.
Mar 24th 2012 12:55AM I just cannot imagine Thrall doing it for two reasons:
1.) His friendship with Jaina. Unless we're talking Orgim being destroyed and every orc facing extinction, it just is not in Thrall's character to do something so destructive.
2.) I would assume Thrall is on the shelf as a character for most of the MoP expansion. I mean, assuming a year has gone by since the end of Cataclysm, he's probably busy being the father he never knew to his child, plus trying to help Azeroth heal. It just seems too early for him to come back into play.
So, let's assume it's not Thrall. Who else is there who might have this level of power? Or we could go another direction - how do we know this isn't a strike by Azshara? Granted, that does not make a lot of sense right now, but I don't have anything better at the moment.
Come to think of it, wouldn't a wave that size also impact Ratchet and Azshara?
Mar 23rd 2012 9:20PM How can the Horde make a tsunami? Honestly, is there any shaman on the Horde side with that kind of power?
That being said, this is... disturbing to say the least. Be very interesting to see Varian's response as well.
Mar 23rd 2012 2:26PM Do I want Garrosh to die? Honestly, no, not unless we are left with no choice. But keep in mind, we are evaluating Garrosh on current information. We don't know yet what will happen in the fall of Theramore, nor what is going on under Orgrimaar. Plus, we have at LEAST three, maybe four patches of material after the core MoP release before we get to the Siege.
While I want Garrosh out in favor of Vol'jin, I do not see death as the only option. Yet.
Mar 22nd 2012 4:40PM Well, I was making more an observation on the quality of the design rather than how a woman should "see" herself in a fantasy world. In my opinion, Blizzard did a better job on the Panderan female model than they did on the worgan. Nothing more or less than that.
Mar 22nd 2012 1:05PM You hear that?
That is the sound of anyone who rolled a female worgan crying bitter tears of jealousy.
Darn shame Blizz had such problems there because this... this is a home run in terms of character design.
Mar 21st 2012 11:06PM Nothing on my account either. But, I am patient and will be ready and hopefully, my turn will come.
Mar 21st 2012 8:35PM Wait a second..
Are we thinking beta TONIGHT???
Not fair, I have school work. :(
I signed up within 24 hours of the Annual announcement, so this should be fun!
Mar 19th 2012 11:18AM WHat I am noodling over is Trials of the High King that will lead to Orgrimaar. I mean, here's the thing: Varian has to convince not just the Alliance leaders (esp. Jaina) that going after Garrosh is a good idea, but he's also got to get HORDE leaders to sign on for this. I mean, let's face it, unless the Horde launches a coup at the same time Varian attacks, this has to be unified or it is never going to work.
OK, now I'm pumped for this. And darn it, it's end game content, which means I gotta be patient. But the road to Orgrimaar is going to be a wild one.
