Mar 12th 2012 4:28AM I swear Blizzard releases this stuff at weird times just to mess with you guys.
Mar 11th 2012 2:30PM I had a conversation with someone on a plane once. His mother worked as an HR rep for IBM, and he was telling me how she's encouraged to interview people who play WoW or other similar MMOs because it builds leadership skills if you're a guild/raid leader and some social skills. I always thought it was pretty interesting; nice to see that other companies are recognizing its value.
Mar 3rd 2012 4:43PM Sacco! You get Persona 3 Portable, and you get it NOW! Or when you have $40 to spare. Yes, I know it's expensive, but for one of the best RPGs to come from the PS2 (and the best soundtrack for nearly any game ever), it's worth it.
Sorry for the interruption; now back to your regularly scheduled questions.
Feb 25th 2012 12:36PM I honestly doubt Blizzard would do that, because of inflation reasons. The closest that would be possible is if they put in a Real Money Auction House and allowed players to sell gold, but even then, it'd be unlikely. We're already paying $15 a month; making it so that we have to pay more just to stay relevant raid- and proffesion-wise would only make sense if they went free-to-play.
Feb 25th 2012 4:42AM It was said during Blizzcon that Resilience would become a base stat now, to make jumping into PvP a lot easier for PvE-oriented players. PvP gear will add more resilience, but your crafted PvP gear and the current Conquest gear will have a much smaller gap of resilience between them, making PvP even more about skill.
Or that's the idea from Blizzcon, anyway. This comment would be irrelevant if the Dev team has changed its mind about how it will work.
Feb 23rd 2012 2:20PM Sorry, I must have missed the part in this post that would make your comment relevant.
Feb 23rd 2012 1:09AM But the sheep, Caylynn... the sheep can see you.
Feb 21st 2012 2:59AM It would be cool if there was a mobile app version of these sites that would notify you when a raid you might be interested in is about to form, just in case you're not on the site but have time to raid (because you're doing dailies/laundry/etc). I'm sure it will happen in time, though, since these things are still in their infancy.
I really like Cross-raid's Dungeon section. I have a few fresh-85 alts that I'd like to gear up without having to sit in a DPS que, and none of the other sites offer a 5-man section (can't yet speak for Twitterland Raiding, though; I don't have full access to their forums since I just registered).
Feb 20th 2012 8:28PM Having just made an account on OpenRaid, the site highly recommends getting an authenticator before you release your RealID. For $7 or free if you have an Android or iOS device, that's not asking much for the ability to enjoy worry-free raiding before BattleTags come out.
Feb 12th 2012 4:13PM A 5-man (or a raid) to find out what the hell is underneath Undercity, and what happened to Koltira Deathweaver, would be great.
