Apr 27th 2011 10:25AM This would be the whole 'In-Game Actions have In-Game Consequences' bit.
Apr 14th 2011 12:17PM It's definitely weird, especially when it becomes so... normal. For me, my daily routine starts like this now: Wake up, shower, start breakfast, check to see if Alliance has Tol Barad and if we do, hammer out the dailies. If not, I just watch a half hour TV show. Either way, after that's all done I head into the office. In another age it'd be bizarre behavior but it fits well with my schedule and honestly helps keep the game fun (and gets me up in time for work for that matter).
Mar 22nd 2011 12:50PM Seriously. There seems to be some internal requirement at Blizzard that all the mounts they sell through the online store are ugly and unpleasant.
Mar 22nd 2011 10:25AM Stonecore definitely is the tops for me; pretty much every other dungeon seems to be pretty doable on a PUG without too much trouble, but Stonecore seems to destroy groups 2 times out of 3, if not on the first boss then on the third. It's those unforgiving screw-up-once-and-you-die mechanics that make it so brutal, and it's surprising they're in there since one of the goals Blizz seemed to be aiming for with Cata was the removal of the whole instant-death system in dungeon runs.
Mar 21st 2011 2:03PM I have to admit I was surprised at how easy it is to be 'pretty good' dps with an enhancement shaman without really doing much more than creating a couple macros. I set up one to toss lava lash, stormstrike, and earth shock in sequence and another to toss unleash elements and flame strike in sequence, plus an alt-toggled lightning bolt/chain lightning for when maelstrom 5-stacks, and I'm generally at the top of the DPS charts in PUGs... and I know that I'm not doing things correctly at all. Using this method will never make an enhancement shammy top of the game, but it's frightening how easy it is to be decent with very little effort in the class. Compared to the nightmare of playing my warrior or druid, it's like a walk in the park. A park filled with pointy objects mind you.
The downside to my sloppy playstyle is that I also end up dead a lot of the time because I lose focus and then oh wait I guess I should have moved when DBM yelled at me. Oops.
Feb 15th 2011 10:12AM Guys, don't feed the troll.
Feb 9th 2011 12:25PM Mr Robot seems to ignore factions when suggesting gear; i was looking at human warlock gear and it was making recommendations for rep gear from Dragonmaw.
Feb 1st 2011 3:08PM To be fair, it took us here in Canada about 20 years of whining and complaining to be included in all the previous 'US only' deals of this nature pretty much across the entire country, and we're right smack next to them and all sharing a big border and stuff... just keep at it and maybe you can get to where we are before the end of the decade!
Dec 7th 2010 3:12PM And of course, the best reason of all for having to discover a dungeon physically first before queuing for it... helps to cut down on the "can someone res me? I'm lost and can't find the dungeon entrance" issues!
