Aug 4th 2011 8:22AM One time when we were doing a Mag run we missed the interrupt and basically all but 2 people died. So the tank and the healer that were left proceeded to 2 man the boss for the next 30 minutes. I believe we managed to battle rez a dps and a healer (we had lots of druids in the group back in BC), but Mag went down eventually and we all had a really good laugh.
Jun 30th 2011 9:16AM WTB Downloadable version of this. I really like this UI, it's got a minimum of clutter while maximizing information.
May 9th 2011 8:22AM I've just recently come back from a break myself. I was playing DCUO, which I really liked, but it just doesn't have the same community. It's difficult to find groups as all the servers are basically low population and there doesn't seem to be any real middle ground for people like myself that like raiding, but in a much more relaxed environment.
Anyway...with WoW being as huge as it is, it's always been easier to find groups and pug raids/heroics so that I can get my bite sized fix.
Apr 27th 2011 9:13AM I'm actually taking a break right now. With DCUO coming out I wanted to try it's new action MMO style. It's been pretty rewarding so far, but populations are low on PC servers. This, of course, results in a long wait times for groups.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the different landscape and feel that DCUO has offered so far though.
Feb 28th 2011 8:36AM I love that quest in Uldum where you're supposed to disarm the 4 bombs that are surrounded by gnomes. But the disarming isn't what I love...it's the getting to the bombs that's awesome. Throw down a projector and distract the gnomes with a LASER SHARK!!
Feb 15th 2011 8:47AM Did you ever see the bug where the mobs would spin around in place to face the person that had aggro on them just before they were killed?
Now that's what I call threat generation!
Jan 26th 2011 10:32AM Not that I don't thoroughly enjoy all this Holy Paladin information, but why is it we don't ever see any Prot or Ret content in the column? I think we're missing out on the "How to Swing it" part.
Just a side note...I really enjoyed this article. I've recently been exploring the possibility of switch my off spec of Ret to Holy, as I'v always enjoyed healing, and your posts are always well written and informative.
Jan 25th 2011 8:48AM "Maana" I really hate it when I hear people pronounce mana with a long soft "A". It really sounds like you're a pretentious elitist D&D nerd. And no one likes those kinds of nerds. It's "man-a" people!
Jan 12th 2011 9:36AM I had a lapse in my resto shaman game play for a while there just before ICC came out and I started playing my lock a lot more frequently. I decided to give him another try when 4.0 hit. One of the things I found that I really needed to adjust to what not spamming the crap out of chain heal. And as such I had to get used to trying to keep my riptide on CD so that I could cast healing wave without it taking forever. Now that I've adjusted to that mindset, I actually enjoy the game play associated with resto shaman a lot more. It's not too much to manage like my destro lock rotation...it's just enough.
Dec 6th 2010 9:33AM I really need a mouse with like 15 buttons. It will totally help my healing.
