Jul 23rd 2011 9:39PM i don't mind snide comments about mages. i can laugh at these jokes. what bothers me is that i saw a quest writer and thought !!! we might actually get some insight this time, instead of ANOTHER useless "how to play nice with others" or "mage 101.9.5" or some other such. you look at shamans or warriors or pallies and they get dungeon guides, boss guides, strategies, gear analysis.... as much as the usual writer makes me chuckle, i never learn anything, unlike when i learn about avoidance tables or optimal gearing. the guy promised us an in depth look at the three classes and then never went past arcane. is that a snide comment on the usefulness of classes? I GET THE FEELING that Arcane Brilliance isn't written by someone whose main is a mage or even plays a mage that often. this is no better. this is par for the course, only instead of patronizing me and flaming locks, it does the opposite.
