Dec 23rd 2011 6:38PM LucasArts will net about 35% after EA recoups their costs.
It's not a bad deal. Of course, it won't be anywhere close to WoW numbers until they pull off some miracles. But they should enjoy a nice profit, especially since EA will get to cover costs with 100% of profit before they split the pie.

Oct 3rd 2011 11:10AM Your suggestion is all kinds of brilliant sir. Great idea!
Oct 1st 2011 6:33PM I don't think they're grumpy, they're just too young to get the joke.
"If one of you commenters calls me Francis (or doesn't get the joke)... I'll kill ya."
Sep 12th 2011 1:41PM Agreed. Operation: Gnomeregan is my favorite music from the entire game. Would love to pay Blizz a buck for that track.
Aug 29th 2011 5:23PM First, I’d like to express condolences to Disappointed. It’s always difficult to deal with the loss of someone in your family.
My experience is that these tragedies almost always affect something else, indirectly. Whether it’s your lawn or house falling apart because your mind is not as focused on keeping things up, or a lost opportunity at work because you aren’t available to invest the extra time.
Sometimes, you need to make a change when the world (of warcraft) seems to have it out for you. I think a guild switch could be perfect under these circumstances. Plus, PUGing raids is perfectly acceptable, even for guild runs. Whisper some of your old guild friends that are also left out, and see if they would like to participate with your new guild.
If all else fails, SWTOR has open beta weekends in September.
Aug 29th 2011 12:01PM Hi Robin! :)
I just don’t think that the officers need to be chastised for trying to improve the guild (prolly should have mentioned it in the original comment). But I wanted to also note that I’m not a typer, and there’s a very good, in-game reason for it.
As for a solution, now that I’ve had a chance to consider it, maybe the GM needs to ask one of the complaining officers to organize a guild activity. They have some great ideas on that “It came from the blog” article. Have another one of the complainers offer commentary for the activity in guild chat. Keep them busy, and just be sure that they realize that good ideas are good; complaints and whining is pretty useless.
Aug 29th 2011 9:19AM I have to disagree with Lisa and Robin. I'm one of those players that can't type while playing. It's not a nuisance. It's not simply a matter of taking a little longer. I – can’t – type – while – playing. I even invested in a $90 Razor Naga when they first came out in order to avoid my keyboard. If I stop to type a message while questing, I usually die. This never affected me in cities or starting zones. But I never bothered to message anyone if I was actually playing the game.
Your guild is part of the game. The game is not part of your guild.
Aug 27th 2011 8:43AM I agree that transmog will offer a small bump in subscriptions, but I won't be one of them. I just really hate the end-game changes, and will not be paying money to be forced into a play style. All of the returning players will leave again after realizing that they aren't the type to enjoy looking pretty but nothing else.
People left because of changes. Changes to play style, changes to content updates, changes to raids and dungeons and bgs oh my. Until Blizz changes it to something better instead of something worse, they won't come back for long.
Aug 22nd 2011 3:42PM Emir, I'd recommend creating recruiting alts on other EU servers. Identify your guild and server, and let them know that you are looking for Turkish PVP players. If they express interest, simply share your guild website. This will be very labor intensive, but it will allow you to target a much wider audience.
