Oct 25th 2011 7:40PM I hope one of these years, that will be our guild family (and our immediate family) at Blizzcon :D We have get-togethers every year, but not everyone can make it--this might be more incentive!
Oct 7th 2011 3:44AM I thought I was the only person who called my "old" style cell phone a "stupid-phone". People never get it until I explain I don't have a smartphone, but by then the joke is lost.
Oct 4th 2011 4:29PM If you have something that you need to do a lot of turn-ins for (I did the cloth grinds as well), you can bind a key to interact with target and make a macro that says
to quickly get through them. I'm not sure how much automation-type trouble you'd be in, but it's there.
Sep 26th 2011 1:57PM This is too sweet! I appreciate that he's taking it this seriously and seems to honestly want to get things right, even if it didn't start off so great--enough to write to a public column! That's a great sign for the continued relationship. :)
Sep 9th 2011 4:12PM My local Gamestop is pretty awesome. They're really reliable, and the day of the Deus Ex issue I actually had to stop by. I asked the associates pointe blanc if they were removing the OnLive stuff, and the ones I was talking to lowered their voices to tell me that they had not received such a notice "to their knowledge" and were not removing anything as they "were not aware of any such order."
I love my local store ^^
Sep 9th 2011 5:22AM The problem is obviously that he's not wearing a belt--that is a girdle.
Aug 25th 2011 10:47AM I have to agree with this. People seem to get the idea sometimes that it always saves money to farm the items you need rather than buy it from the AH. While this is sometimes true, if you know you can make more money doing dailies or something, then spending it on the item you want off the AH, it saves you time. It just depends on how much the item is, if it's truly overpriced, and the amount of time it would take to farm mats (or the item) to begin with.
Jun 30th 2011 5:42PM So this one time, my sister and I were running around the farm with bare feet, and in the horse pasture there was a small pond. It wasn't really a pond, more of a sinkhole that just filled from drainage, but we called it "the pond." This particular day, some inner voice told me to splash through the edge of the pond and get my toes all squishy in the mud. It was really fun for a couple of minutes, until I jumped and landed on the metal cap that used to cover our chimney. It had blown off in a storm a few weeks prior, and apparently ended up in the deep mud of the pond.
The edge of the grated part went straight through the arch of my foot. I don't know what was worse--the injury, or trying to pull the grate back out. And being the young fool that I was, I hid it to avoid getting another tetanus shot (rather than cleaning the mud out of the wound and taking care of it.)
Fools and small children, fools and small children.
Jun 17th 2011 11:20AM I remember hopping into Onyxia's Lair a couple (few?) years back to knock her out really fast, and the raucous laughter when our fire mage and destro lock realized she was still very immune to fire (this was before dual specs and after the fight had started.) Thankfully, as affliction, I wasn't too affected. xD The destro lock was hopping around during the fight, crowing "Spam shadowbolt---HOW I'VE MISSED YOU!"
Jun 13th 2011 4:47PM I actually just checked the calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1st already. I'll have to buy three sets: for me, for each child....oh, and maybe my husband wants some, too.
