Scattered Shots: MoP hunter changes galore {WoW}

Mar 29th 2012 8:02PM It may end up not being practical in-game, but personally I'm most excited about the AotC glyph. That daze is the reason I currently NEVER used it. Should be fun to play around with. ^_^

Blue Posts and Other WoW News: Chris Metzen's curious tweets {WoW}

Feb 20th 2012 10:04PM Oh god, Blizz. Please don't "Death of Superman" us.

Heart of the Aspects video and giveaway {WoW}

Feb 15th 2012 9:29AM next friday is my birthday, this would be so sweet to win for that! (not that I'm expecting favorable treatment because of that, the timing of it would just make the lucky win that much more epic ^_^)

Would removing legendaries be a benefit for the World of Warcraft? {WoW}

Jan 27th 2012 4:29PM I like the idea of Transmog legendaries. I also hope someday our old legendaries/difficult to acquire items (Benediction/Rhok'Delar) will become account-bound for transmog purposes; I hate that my current hunter can't weld Rhok anymore because it's on my old hunter (long story short, account hacked & decided to just reroll the hunter as a Goblin rather than get a race change for the old). But then, I'm a sucker for good-looking gear ;^_^

Patch 4.3 PTR: Replica armor, heirlooms, and death knight starting gear {WoW}

Dec 5th 2011 11:07AM SO happy they gave DKs a way to get their starting gear back. That's still my favorite DK set, and will be overjoyed to wear it again! :D

Official Transmogrification preview {WoW}

Aug 26th 2011 2:32PM I'm assuming we have to have the old pieces we want to transmogrify our new gear into, at least based on the description, yes?

I guess that's awesome for vet players or older characters, but for my Goblin (whom I would LOVE to deck out in full dragonstalker) it's gonna be a pain in the rear to get all those pieces again. Oh well, tis the eternal struggle of the WoW player in the never-ending quest to look super pimp, right?

Breakfast Topic: The curious phenomenon of "reverse burnout" {WoW}

May 10th 2011 11:54AM I PvP. For me, it's FAR more enjoyable to "grind" a battleground than a dungeon or raid since there's a human element involved. You're never just hitting a button rotation, moving in a set pattern, and doing a rinse&repeat formula in PvP since your opponent's movements and attack decisions are always spontaneous and unpredictable.

I used to be a hardcore raider, even as far back as Vanilla WoW & twice-weekly excursions into MC. But Raiding just doesn't hold the same appeal to me as it once did because i've gotten tired of just "learning the right pattern", which gets old and repetitive VERY fast (not to mention frustrating if you have that one guy who DOESN'T know the pattern, forcing everyone to start from the beginning and do it again. And again. And again.)

PvE was always my "means to an end" as far as getting good gear to PvP better in the beginning, but since after BC that's not the case, I have even less incentive to raid.
