Mar 1st 2012 1:28PM Nice job guys. It's always nice to see the same progression on 2 nights a week.
Check out Strat on Mal'ganis and Despotism on Greymane. They do the same type of progression on the same nights a week.
Aug 12th 2011 5:42PM Yeah but saying, "get out" without offering much of an explanation is pretty crappy. I'm no looking for anything to complain about, I'm all for removing people who aren't doing their job. The problem with this is that you're not doing anything at that current time to help them. Instead, you're being an asshole. Now if you say, "hey, you're doing X wrong" over a whisper, and they continue to do it wrong, then you can remove them. But coming to the conclusion to boot them, without allowing them to rectify, and doing it a jackass way is NOT a way to be a good Raid Lead.
Aug 12th 2011 4:19PM Exactly. If you're that quick to boot someone who throws a "tantrum" because you ask them to leave without prompting why, you're a pretty shady individual because it sounds like you're passively aggressively urging for that to happen.
I agree that you need to talk with a healer after the raid if you ask them to leave, but come on, at least give them some idea why in the first place. A lot of times they will correct it, and if they can't, then be okay with leaving the raid for someone else.
This article doesn't sit right with me for some reason.
Jun 13th 2011 6:29PM *40% of my healing done.
Jun 13th 2011 6:27PM Honestly, any of the classes that come on here and say that "OMG HPAL OP NOW" really doesn't understand how this mastery works or how the class mechanics work. Just today I had a guildie tell me that "now you have a mini Val'anyr". What I had to tell him is that it doesn't work with 60% of my total healing and that to switch to mastery would be too much of a loss in HPS to switch. Bottom line, with the toolbox the Holy Paladin has, they are incredibly reliant on haste. There's really no way around it. Our core heals (DL, HR, and HL) all require a good chunk of haste to get you to a correct HPS. In sacrificing haste for mastery, we ultimately lose HPS and don't gain enough in HPM to justify it.
Mar 7th 2011 10:06AM I may be in the minority, but I only put 1 talent point into Enlightened Judgements. I feel that two is a waste because you generally don't need the extra hit generated by that second point. That point can be used elsewhere.
Dec 16th 2010 12:43PM I completely understand the point of nerfing HL on ToR. That makes perfect sense. But, nerfing a spell that didn't need to be nerfed, as acknowledged by Blizz by saying Holy Pallies weren't topping any meters, doesn't make much sense.
I'm just saying, LoD seems much more ineffective now and WoG will be used far more now (which seems exaclty the wrong direction being that it is the top tier talent in the Holy tree). Not even sure I'll use LoD to be honest, not worth the HP and GCD for the throughput.
Dec 16th 2010 11:24AM I'm confused here. In the first blue post he said:
"This wasn't a problem of paladins topping healing meters or anything like that. The problem was that paladins could heal much more efficiently than other healers."
Then why the 40% nerf on Light of Dawn? If we weren't topping meters, then why did you nerf the potency of our new, main, mechanic?
Dec 9th 2010 5:21PM I dont think the issue for rep was just Horde. I have completed 146 quests into that chain and am at 1312/6000 of FRIENDLY with Earthen Ring. I have a Human Paladin on the Draenor-US server.
Like everyone else, I'm stuck below the achievement as well.
