Nov 18th 2011 7:17AM Doesn't the PVP change mean that skill becomes more important in relation to gear since the latter is available to more players?

In golf, the weaker players get a buff (bigger handicap) to let them have fun when playing with the better players. The status symbol for skill is the handicap, not the gear.

Of course, this doesn't go well with the "oneshot & /spit" kind of PVP Player who doesn't care about teamplay and likes to humiliate his opponents. We all saw what happened to the lower level BG brackets once they stopped the experience-point-arrested players from raping the others.

Example: If i transmogrify my helmet to look like goggles, will only that helmet change its appearance or will everything I wear on my head be displayed as those goggles?

Nov 16th 2011 4:38AM I am administrator of a software that allows its users literally thousands of options concerning layout, behaviour, and the like. I spend a LOT of time digging through menus in search of the right check box of listbox.

For me, it's totally clear that Blizzard will limit the number of options in its configuration menu in order not to overwhelm the standard user. If they feel that 99% don't object to the clock, they will remove the hide option to keep the options menu manageable.

After all, we have an extremely powerful UI framework with thousands of addons to choose from or even to write ourselves.

So if there's more people who don't want the Inventory search, there will eventually be a SearchboxBgone - Addon that does exactly that.

Aug 31st 2011 6:51AM Losecontrol also displays this for target, focus and other objects which you can easily position near those unit frames. There's nothing better than a big icon showing you all CCs on your enemy with their duration left.

Aug 31st 2011 6:46AM Please don't downvote, but Carbonite does a pretty good job of that: it displays Allies, shows whether they are infight (inserted cross) and remembers the minimap's size and scale for each BG.

Mar 23rd 2011 4:24AM It'S always a bit strange to use laws of physics for reasoning in a fantasy/magic game, but to my mind a stealthed rogue is still walking on the floor, so he surely would trigger a trap, wouldn't he?

Which brings me to another question: Does a levitating priest set off the trap?
