Jan 14th 2011 11:55AM Will we be able to save up valor points now to spend on new gear in 4.1? or will the VP in our bags turn into JP?

Ghostcrawler responds to heroic dungeon difficulty complaints {WoW}

Jan 12th 2011 5:58PM I tank tonnes of RFD groups. My experience is pure PuGs are fine, and almost always listen to instructions, and are patient with CC/LoS pulling ect...

What is almost IMPOSSIBLE is joining a premade. They won't listen, they will pull for you, and will be obnoxious. Pre-mades are almost 100% fail when I join them as a tank.

Making the dungeon finder suck less {WoW}

Jan 5th 2011 3:52PM Easy way for DPS to get shorter ques. Don't que.

A good dungeon guide makes LFD pugs easy. Here is my realistic solution.

Every time a dungeon guide finishes a dungeon he/she gets a credit towards a ranking system.

This system serves no other purpose then to increase the chance of being chosen as dungeon guide, and is instantly visable to other in the group, like a title.

I almost never have issues leading LFD groups, even with new players. It's the Kingslayer wrath babies that think they know best but really have no clue that are the problem. It's not all their fault though. It's human nature to be defencive and he has no way to know that I know better other then some unrelated achieves and raid gear.

If they saw in my title that I had led 5+ LFD groups through this same instance all ready, they would be more open to listening. And maybe a few more hunters would get a disarm pet for the High Prophet in Lost City.

Why is this tank getting hit so hard?!?!?! It's called 99 lashes, and it's a PITA.

The Lawbringer: The dangers of addon auto-updaters {WoW}

Jan 2nd 2011 2:01AM if it's not broke, don't fix it.

I install my addons manualy because i don't trust cruse. But do you realy need to update them that often?

DBM now and then when there is new content, Auctionator, Atlas loot.

But that's about it. Most other add ons just don't seem to need much updating between patches.

Ghostcrawler reveals upcoming class changes in Cataclysm {WoW}

Dec 31st 2010 10:53PM @ackthbbft

You may be doing something wrong. Or your looking at short heroic fights.

In my 10 man we have downed 6 bosses. My gear is gemmed/enchanted for tanking, missing for cat dps talents too, but I am hit/exp capped through reforging.

On 1 tank fights where I switch to kitty, I was doing GREAT damage. I was consistantly 2nd or 3rd against much better geared unholy-DK, Frost Mage, Rogue, Destro, Shadow, Fury, Survival. Infact we were all pretty close, no one was ever on the bottom. But considering the gear difference I'd have to say my class must be doing fine. FACT cat dps isin't easy, if your dps is low, you probly just suck at wow and should roll a paladin.

Dec 31st 2010 10:45PM I dont know what version of wow you play. But it's tanks holding up LFG ques 100% of the time. Not heals.

I have never ever had to wait even a second in que as a tank.

Dec 31st 2010 10:43PM I play a druid tank. And it is FUN! (I played paladin/dk/warrior tanks in wrath)

Raiding and heroics both fun! I have 6 raid bosses down so far in 10 man.

Contrary to what someone else said, we do have a ranged interupt, and it's great. It's cheap, very short CD, and it's a charge FFS! I feel like a warrior almost I can charge around so much when talented to 10 seconds. I prefer it over Heroic Throw or Avengers Shield or Strangulate any day.

#1 reason druids are the best tanks for heroics. >>Roots.

Dec 26th 2010 12:10AM "In breaking the EULA, you render your copy of the game illegal. You have an illegal copy of the game, therefore that is copyright infringement."

I break the EULA all the time, simply because it's too strict.

What happens when in a BG i tell someone to go #$#@ them selves. Does that render my copy of the game illegal? What about when I get the email warning, it implies I can keep playing, since I'm not banned.

It seems like the most they could (should) do is ban you if they catch you. Only once you are banned is you game "illegal". But just having it installed should not be copyright infringement. Hacking the game/server so you can still play while banned. THAT and that alone should have legal concequences.

Like the judge says, blizz COULD put in the EULA that we must clean our teeth before playing. Of course it is such a stupid, arbitrary rule that no legal concequences could arise from breaking it. But if blizz catches you, and Bans you, well it's their race track, and if your banned then your banned. Nothing gives you a right to their track, it's a privledge based on their rules.

Of course the dumber the rules blizz makes, the more likely it will fail and a new game will replace it.

Educated people, am I so wrong? Is my (not actualy a crime until you get caught) logic good?

Only circumventing a ban should be copywrite infringement. What glider did is definatly not illegal. Blizz has to assume that the fact that their game exists creates a market for these kind of programs. And we all know how well prohibition works. It's up to them to keep the crack off their playground. Not up to them to run a war on drugs.
