Oct 21st 2011 3:10PM But also, whats this I hear about new talent system? Does it mean talents will work differently in PVE and PVP now? I sure wish it to be true! Cata PVP hurt my wrist with all the spamming buttons and slows until someone LoSed the healer. I miss being able to escape the focus and tension of raids by crushing alliance with my Ice Barbed Spear back in Vanilla.

Two Bosses Enter: Erudax vs. Lady Naz'jar {WoW}

Apr 4th 2011 11:11PM Since the strength of these bosses are even, the strength must be spread out amongst the minions. If Naz'jar incapacitates the corruptors with waterspout, she would be stuck in her wave. This matches her naga forces up against Erudax, who is in full use of his abilities to give him the edge against mere adds.

Two Bosses Enter: Erudax vs. Lady Naz'jar {WoW}

Apr 4th 2011 9:40PM In the den of an ancient dragon's prison, a horror awaits: Erudax, twisted abomination of the old Gods. He guards the maturation of his brood in the seclusion of haunting memory and dark flame. Ooze erupt from his mouth, like the crash of a wave on a rock face, splashing the sides and streaming through the cracked armor and spinney appendages.

But among the secretions and spinney growths inhabiting the black dragon nest comes a new image. A faint azure flicker dances in the adjacent hallway, disturbing the gaze of the Old God agent. Erudax's eyes fix on the light as it comes closer. And closer. A blast appears and breaks the crafted dwarf column above him!

He rises to attention, "Approach the coming of your end, trespasser!" He lumbers towards the glow with unholy rage.

Out of the glow appears the sea witch, Lady Naz'jar, firing more frigid bolts toward the unholy den guardian. "We seek the power of the Tide Hunter for ourselves, and much, much more! Your death will serve as a warning to our old masters and the work made here will contribute to a new reign--the return of the Highborne!"

Erudax cackles maniacally.

Minions flow from behind Naz'jar and Erudax greets them readily, "More flesh for the offering!" A dark pulse blows the minions back and locks them in place. Slowly, their essence is drained and gathered in the nearby eggs. Naz'jar, sensing a dark intent in regards to these eggs, crafts a plan to her advantage.

"Minions! To my aide! Destroy the eggs whilst I blast this base creature into the nether!" New Naga spring forth as her eyes illuminate with icy power. Her blasts will meet her target.

Just as her spells launch, there is a crash behind her. "Come, suffering... Enter, chaos! Protect the eggs!" The watcher of the Erudax whip and stampede toward Naz'jar's followers, meeting them with the same deadly darkness brandished by their master.

The minions meet in arms as a new horror bellows out of Erudax. "Be twisted by my might!"

In a instant, the room fills with spinning shadow, grabbing at Lady Naz'jar's senses and inflicting mortal wounds to her body. It is as though death itself lashed the skin from her limbs. "No! Not like this!" The might of the Highborne surges and a blast of water coalesces around her.

"The abyss awaits!" Her shadow consumed minions fade as new arrive from the rushing waves emanating from Lady Naz'jar.

"F'lakh ghet! The shadow's hunger cannot be sated!" The two magics match and crack a deep purple line between them, straining to best the other. The aura creates a haze of mist and shadow that matches the melding of flesh around the minions battling. Yoke from the eggs mixes with the green and black blood from the warriors, neither side yielding.

"Enough!" Erudax charges, delivering an enfeebled blow to Lady Naz'jar.

"For the Naga!" She summons geysers, hoping to hide amongst their heat while she gathers power for more frost bolts. In the confusion, Erudax pauses, also deciding to use this time to regain his strength.

Naz'jar assassinates a few of the Old God minions as she rallies her army, but too few have survived. She throws her sentinel forward as a decoy, but her strategy is a failure--the beast breathes behind her.

"Gaze into Eternity!" Erudax grabs her between his claws as his watchers hold Naz'jar's sentinel. The sick tongue of the Old God's language closes from a passage from Erudax's utterance and the eyes of the sentinel light up. From him comes a black smoke that drains the color from his scales. He's now a mere shell, and falls to the floor.

The screams from Naz'jar comfort Erudax as he spins the shadowy smoke into a mask for his new, permanent guest. She will not defy her masters again.

Breakfast Topic: Has Cataclysm let you down? {WoW}

Jan 11th 2011 8:11AM I think the Boat phasing was redeemed by the questing that has you eating the Naga with a frenzied shark!

I also has some annoyances with the separation of trade items, like herbs and leather, in that my druid is a leatherworker and there are very few skinnable animals in Hyjal. The epicness of a druid helping the super sayian druids is miffed by the absence of skill ups.
