Jan 26th 2010 7:48PM "Shifting Perspectives" is a column dedicated to those shifty shape-shifters. Now say that five times fast.
Jan 26th 2010 7:18PM From someone who works for a military friendly company and someone who has come along the same lines (ie: Warcraft/Warcraft2/SC)...thank you for the article. You get so many kids telling those of us with some years under our belts (I'm 34) to get a life. It's nice to see those who show you can play wow and still have a life. Now if only I could find a life myself....
Jan 11th 2010 12:47PM Hey everyone, I have a really nice place for you to rent. The place is sweet and you'll absolutely love it here! Rent is only $15 per month and you will get plenty of use out of it...quite a good investment. Only problem is that we keep having people break in and steal everything. We have tried multiple time to inform our tennants on how to keep the place secure, but it's just not solving the problem. We have come up with a solution, to rent the place we are now going to require you purchase a remote. This remote will allow COMPLETE security to the place, no more worrying about someone taking your stuff any more.
Here's my thought, if every car you bought required you to buy THEIR alarm...it would probably piss some people off. If every time you rented a storage space and they required you to buy and use THEIR propriatary locks, it would piss you off. There are some things that should be left up to the individual to secure. Although I understand that it has causing Blizz money (time and support) and this is a good way to fix the issue and secure their finances, when can we be responsible for securing ourselves? I'd like to know the % of players that purchase the authenticator after getting hacked.
This just reported, due to the number of viruses out there, you will now be required to purchase your local internet provider's virus protection in order to use the internet.
Dec 1st 2009 6:27PM I usually don't post comments, but I wanted to add my 2cents on this one. I've never leveled my fishing, I just can't find the patience to wait for my bobber to "bob" and try to click...BORING. It's still going to be plenty boring, but at least I won't have to deal with leveling it. In addition, I maxed out my cooking quite a while back. It will be nice to be able to fish for my salmon instead of getting tore up on the AH =). Anyone can kill beasts for meat, but the fish was only available to those who can stare at a screen never-changing.

Oct 21st 2009 8:17PM I think the "mouth reading" just refers to some of the Obama followers. Some of the followers believe whole-heartedly that whatever he says, must be true. Bascically instead of doing research, or watching actions, they go solely on what they're told. Then again, I always thought a mouth-reader was a deaf person lip reading? =P
Sep 14th 2009 2:33PM Sorry, just to clarify. The quotes are taken from the original poster. I really don't mean to troll, but seriously...don't be a retard.
Jan 20th 2009 10:49AM Why is everyone making this such a big deal? So a muti-racial person won office by a popular vote of 52% to 48%...really is it that much of a landslide? I admit, Obama gave some great speeches, but please tell me why everyone is praising him so? Is it his qualifications, accomplishments, awards, etc..? Now I am not saying he will be a bad or good president. We will all have to wait and see what happens. Please quit saying it is a momentus occasion for everyone involved. He was voted in because of his handlers and campaign. The party had a well run campaign, the media hyped him a TON, had some good speeches, and people really did not have a lot to choose from. The economy sucks, whether you believe it's Bush's fault or not, it sucks. When the media pushes "change", it's going to get votes...there's just too many people who believe everything they read and hear.
Bottom line, it's a new unproven president who happens to be multi-racial. /rant
Jan 19th 2009 6:04PM Stay with me here... the point for most people in WOW is what? Trying to get the absolute best gear in the game, right? For most of Warcraft's players this requires a huge investment in time. Not only must one level their character to 80, but you also have to find a guild who's raiding schedule fits yours. If you happen to work odd hours or just can't commit to the guild's raiding style, you're sol. Okay, so this is not news to anyone. My point is, at level 19, 29, 39, etc. you can actually work to find the best gear in the game for that level generally without outside help. You don't need to find a raid, at most you have to find a group or have someone run you through an instance.
I started a twink because I was tired of fighting against overly geared players in the lower levels. It is also somewhat of a challenge to get the "best" gear for your level. How many people have worked to get a +100hp head enchant. I also hate the all-too-common rogue / hunters, so I tried something different. As for age, well I'm 33 and I'd rather beat up another twink than 1 shot a poor guy in greys.
Just my 2cents!
