In a properly balanced game (not this one) there would be a hybrid tax, but the benefit of being a hybrid would have to be greater than it is now.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Protection Warrior 101 -- talents {WoW}

Feb 1st 2011 12:19AM I just love how if you disagree with the author of the article, you instantly get thumbed down and your comment is grayed out. Most of the people on this site are just a bunch of mindless drones that want some quick info on warriors and because the sites been running for a long time and is sponsored, seems legit. I don't know about the other authors but Matthew Rossi is very frequently wrong.

An example of this is how he thinks Hold the Line isn't a required talent. Really? Honestly? Really? It has incredible synergy with our mastery and is a threat increase, it gives you a reason to have 1 avoidance (parry) slightly over the other (dodge). Last stand is also used as a secondary cooldown when SW is on CD. LS+ER=Save your ass in a high damage time in a fight. You may not think it's much, but believe me it is. Vengeance is required for anything but maybe heroics, sorry it is, don't even argue it.

In his other protection warrior gear guide post, Rossi, questioned why there was so many mastery/parry pieces in dungeons now. I called him out on it and laughed; he jumped on me telling me I didn't know what I was talking about, and I tried to refute but every post I made just got grayed out, just like this one will.

All I'm trying to say is if you want some real information on warriors that is precise, accurate, and beneficial to you, this probably isn't the place to look. The author clearly does very little research on the class he claims to play, you're better off going and looking at some stickies on the wow forums or some Elitist Jerks. I'm not calling him an idiot, I'm just calling him an unprepared college student trying to wing a presentation on physics in front of Stephen Hawking; you're gonna get called out on it, and when you do, you're gonna get burned. Thanks to anyone who actually read this and understood what I was trying to say.

Jan 31st 2011 1:45AM You guys all know this dude's an idiot and any advice he gives about warriors is pretty much either wrong or worthless right?
