Feb 2nd 2011 8:51PM The shapeshifting and Beserk hammer (not nerf) was undeserved. Yes, feral were a little OP in pvp, but the solution is NOT to let them sit virtually defenseless and get hammered by anything that happens by. At least cyclone provides immunity to damage!
If they want to murder root-shifting, fine. The only *right* thing to do then is to add feral druids to the homogenization of Warcraft by giving feral a copy of an ability all the other melee classes have for a defensive CD. Instead of making slight adjustments...
...like mana costs to shift while rooted are 200% greater, giving shifting an ICD of 5 seconds, shifting out of a root grants a 3-sec "daze".... I am sure there are lots of idea's on how to gently nerf power-shifting...
... Blizzard is taking a battle-axe to this spec, and **forcing** it back into relative obscurity. I know people spout off with the "I quit" line anytime they don't get what they want, and I won't say it myself. But I will promise never to pvp again on my druid if this goes live. I play druid for herbing and feral pvp. That's all. I have 9 other characters I enjoy in other ways, many I also pvp with.
This bothers me so much. It's out of the blue, unprecedented, and inexplicable. They may as well take rogue stealth, warrior charges, mage blink, etc....
Jan 30th 2011 10:42PM I find it odd that no one seems to care that feral mobility is getting seriously nerfed by not being able to shift out of roots. May not happen much, but when it does, it's important.
