Why is the Horde suddenly so good at PVE? {WoW}

Apr 25th 2007 2:37PM Here's my theory: PvE was indeed harder for Horde side, so they had to develop their skills more. Now that things are equalized, they're pulling ahead because of the better base skill set that they developed.

It's like Olympic athletes that train with shotputs or javelins that are heavier than they will eventually use in competition. Once the handicap is taken away, they perform better than those who trained with the regular weight equipment.

All in all, competition is a good thing and hopefull Alliance will re-double their efforts to catch back up to Horde in PvE.

Breakfast Topic: How Much Do You Tip? {WoW}

Nov 14th 2006 9:50AM As a 60 rogue, it's nice to get a tip for opening a lockbox, but not necessary. If the person is from my guild, I never accept tips, even if they try. But if someone tosses in some silver for opening a difficult lockbox, then great! It was a PITA to skill up lockpicking to 300, so I appreciate it.

The biggest annoyance is when somebody asks you to open a lockbox and then they just keeping opening trades with you for more and more lockboxes. The other night somebody did about 10 in a row, tipping me 10s each lockpick. I don't care about the money, just tell me how many you have ahead of time, jeesh!
