Ready Check: Mastering the fine art of raid calling {WoW}

Feb 26th 2011 1:26AM My husband and I (through a couple of guilds) have been using raid callers since Karazhan. Lots of fights in there require movements, target switching, standing completely still, or coordinated tank switching.

It was hard at times, because on most fights, I was able to call, but I always had to get a ranged DPS to call on Prince - female dwarf fury warrior can't see anything in that fight except a sky full of boss crotch.

Drama Mamas: Love is all around {WoW}

Feb 11th 2011 4:13PM I met my husband in a PuG for Deadmines about a month after Naxx40 dropped. I completely agree with the advice to meet the girl offline in a casual setting. Sometimes, all the online chemistry can translate to absolutely nothing in person. If the chemistry is as awesome offline as it is online, you probably won't need to say anything to her - she'll already be aware.

When I met my husband on our first offline date, I saw him from across the room before he saw me. I knew at that second he was it. : )

Drama Mamas: Proper AH etiquette when a guildie helps craft {WoW}

Feb 5th 2011 3:06PM Because you live in the US, you have "free speech" and the government will not prosecute you. It does not exempt you from the rest of us thinking you are a douchecanoe.

Breakfast Topic: Who's your new favorite NPC? {WoW}

Jan 29th 2011 8:16AM Zen'Kiki. Every time I see him shift into aquatic form, I get the giggles. Lunk just got on my nerves a bit - mostly the berating for having to kill something when it aggroed on me and he refused to help.

On a more serious note - I loved, loved, loved the quest chain with Rhea in Badlands and the sheer implication of the ending. It's still out there somewhere, and he doesn't know it. :D (Intentionally vague, no spoilers from me!)

The Queue: Make it so {WoW}

Jan 26th 2011 7:16AM Drakkenfyre,

Harvest Moon DS was released in September of 2006.

Also, I am aware that Natsume and Nintendo are completely different companies, I was merely pointing out one example of a game, clearly marketed to kids, that features gambling, and is rated E 6+.

Harvest Moon for the Nintendo DS features a casino where you can gamble. It's rated E.

Jan 11th 2011 11:29AM Quite a few old world dungeon keys got removed - the Skeleton Key for Scholo, the key to the back door of Strat, the Crescent Key for DM - all gone, among others.

It doesn't even wait until you have two buffs. When you have one single buff, instead of showing it, it covers it and makes you mouse over.

One of the lamest changes to the UI ever, IMO.
