Oct 6th 2011 1:59AM Use it on cooldown. The only time you should be hesitating at the start of an encounter. Put your dots up and MF until you have an orb, then MB and recast DP and VT. After that, 90% of the time you will gain another shadow orb before Empowered Shadows falls off you so there's no need waiting. Nor is it worth waiting for the orb for the MB bonus when it's simpler and more effective to use on cooldown.

Jun 16th 2011 5:34AM Awesome info. Thanks ^^
One question: in regards to the new stat weightings, is it now beneficial for us to stack mastery as we did haste, or is the mechanic still too fidgety to be worth such a strategy? Is this encouraging us to have an even spread secondary stats altogether as the difference between them is minimal?
Jun 13th 2011 10:53AM Benediction is certainly the most quintessentially priestly item in the game, with Whitemane's Chapeau coming in a contentious second place. I must have run SM Cathedral dozens of time for that drop. It is definitely one of my personal 'perfect' items.
It is also one of the few cloth headpieces that looks any good on a Worgen at all.
That is no small feat.
May 14th 2011 8:03PM As Matt said, leveling a spriest (or any priest) requires a lot of regen downtime; at least, that was the trend I found with mine leveling in Wrath. There was a lot of wand spam involved. As you progress, of course, this simply becomes less and less of an issue as you gain a total of 5 mana regen tools to negate this during combat. Between Archangel, SW:D and Shadowfiend, there is very little need to carry around food at all, and you can always Disperse or channel HoH at the end (or in the midst of combat if desperate).
As long as you stay vigilant to your mana bar and cooldowns, there is no stopping you.
