Jul 14th 2011 6:34PM we are only 2/7 in firelands so my comments mostly came from my experience in bot and bwd. add to that my husband is the raid leader and any "extra" duties he gives to me if at all possible. i wasnt complaining by the way just curious if there was somthing i could improve upon and how those things play into always maintaining our rotation.
Jul 14th 2011 12:30PM Do we take into account extra things we have to do other than doing out rotation. We are a ten man guild and it seems in at least 50% of the fight, I have some extra job no one else has. Usually kiting somthing or dropping frost traps every 30 secs. Granted I am still always in the top three of DPS and usually number one but I obviously am missing cobra shots ( this is when i try to time when i drop them so I dont delay my sig. shots). Am I doing somthing wrong? Am I missing some super ninja hunter trick that wont make me miss shots while I do these things? I'm not the best hunter but I am fairly skilled, so always looking for little ways to improve.
Jan 3rd 2011 5:02PM I believe the gap will close with the difference of sv dps compared to other classes. I see other classes "catching up" so to speak. I'm often in groups where shamans are doing great so I am suprised to not see that reflected in the information. The gap between SV and all others isnt as obvious as it was at beginning of Cata release. When i first started running heroics i could barely pay attention and was easily doing fourty percent of the damage in a group. Now I have to pay attention to get that same distinction with the exception of DK's and Shamans who often top me even if they are in slightly lower gear. No doubt SV will still need a gentle "nerf" but I am afraid they will take too big a wack at us with the bat.
