May 30th 2011 7:32PM I asked a GM about it, he says it was again intially to combat gold sellers but it is still widely debated. Also, if any of you are having problems in SW/org with computer freezes and u know your computer can handle those cities, type "/console accounttype LK" and relog. It fixes the problem
May 30th 2011 11:12AM Dear Q,
TL;DR Why did blizzard stop allowing trials to join guilds?
Bar the obvious "X is a new guild....wanna join?", If you say played a trial due to your sub running out for a few days and wanting to talk to your guild (yea that is kinda cheating the sub thing...and not a very easy thing to actually accomplish considering they have to whisper you first) are blizzard not trying to steer WoW into a "Join a Guild! FTW!" type view? and by removing this from a trial surely the over all impression of new players playing a trial is hindered by not having access to such a prominent feature?
May 20th 2011 10:29AM Rogues. They were the first and only class ive bought all the possible boas for (including bow) then i relalised i just dont like thm =s. At level 7 with no boas i couldnt kill a rare =[, i even had everyone buff me =L, sinister strike on its own just cant cut it =p
May 12th 2011 2:54PM yes, i highly agree with this, i started to play wow at the beginning of TBC and it took me 2 1/2 years to actually learn how to play, to put this in perspective, i used white vendor items until lv40 (as thats when they stopped selling them to me!) i didnt even know there were these things called "dungeons", i thought there was only DM and WC. If WoW inisder had have been a URL during account creation i think my life in wow would have been MUCH smoother (especially due to to Frostheim). At the end of the day, wow still doesnt teach you how to play, i didnt even know i HAD this move called "steady shot" till i was level 80 (and thats just the tip of the iceberg)
May 2nd 2011 1:45PM I'm really looking forward to this, for the obvious 'in game' feature but also the tinny tiny bits of lore. As blizzard are looking at popular addons, ever think we could get a default ui dps meter? =D they've already added a "move everything" type thing to allow the movement of player and target default ui (im pretty sure they have*)
Jan 9th 2011 8:29PM this is truly an art form, i do not play a holy paladin tho i have divide into it as an offspec for an alt, but non-less this is obviously an extremly potent technique and one which you should be proud of, GJ =], my only concern is if blizzard will see it as an exploit and if they will nerf it if it also turns out to be slightly imbalanced towards other healers but it may still be 2 early to tell. We can only hope.
Jan 9th 2011 11:15AM well, mount drops have never flavoured me as per say, my old computer used to have "that time of the year" every year without fail from september to december so no brewfest mounts until last year when i bit the bullet and went to an internet café and got the ram on my one and only run =].
However, i was lucky enough to also see the onyxia mount drop the very first time (and 1/2) i've raided her but when i won the role the beauty was "ninjad" by the leader =@! in a rage i went to VoA for some easy emblems when out of no where the mount dropped, 2 in the same day! sadly i do not know who would have won this because, yep u geussed it, "ninjad"
and im left with no rare mounts =[
