Mar 14th 2011 10:14AM That this guild leader gives a damn is affording the members more than some. My personal horror story here:
*Talk* to your members, be frank, be kind. Give them the same respect you'd expect them to give you. Don't EVER make reassurances you don't intend to keep.
Mar 7th 2011 10:51AM Apart from the limitation of game-time, I've actually really enjoyed working. I'm lucky enough to be in the field that I studied in, and I'm someone who likes working and being productive. I think that's why WoW was so appealing to me in my months of joblessness - I could get my teeth in to it and feel like it was going somewhere.
However a little more free time to shoo the spiders out of my Xbox would be nice!
Mar 7th 2011 9:10AM I was a big Xbox, PC and DS gamer when I was a student. I started playing WoW to fill a recession-fuelled, post-uni, jobless depression for six months and when I got a full-time job and started freelance as well, I found myself having to choose a game as I don't have time enough to meaningfully play a variety. I chose WoW.
I wonder if anyone else has found themselves with this kind of ultimatum?
Mar 6th 2011 10:31AM This is a bit after the fact but I recently did a blog post with a pretty photo on this subject: http://clickthelightwell.blogspot.com/2011/03/sagas-20-days-of-wow-challenge-day-6.html
Mar 2nd 2011 6:32AM Many addons offer wonderful flexibility for unusual circumstances. However, speaking in terms of Jon's guildie, a different look at hardware could be just as useful. I suggest she consider a Razer Naga mouse or similar, she would be able to move and use abilities easily with one hand and use the hand she would normally use for movement on modifier keys instead, allowing easy access to 36 different abilities.
Feb 22nd 2011 8:33AM Emptiness and crushing disappointment, that's love for you.
Feb 18th 2011 7:29AM I already own a Naga and will definitely be getting one of these. However, the release seems to have been delayed indefinitely; it was going to be my Christmas present but it didn't come out in time which was very disappointing. Has there been word on this to anyone's knowledge?
I travel a lot, it always comes with me and my laptop and unfortunately does get dropped and knocked as a matter of course. I've had this thing for almost a year and a half and there's barely a scuff. I wonder what the first poster is doing with theirs because I find mine very robust.
I have small hands (being a girl and all) and find it very comfortable, but I think those with bigger hands will appreciate the new interchangeable sides. For myself the wireless functionality will be extremely useful on the go.
Feb 13th 2011 8:32AM I'm surprised to see a couple of very old posts here. With the loss of
some old-time bloggers recently and a few notable new ones, you're not
stuck for choice when it comes to sourcing some fresh material. My own
blog focuses on Holy priest healing and raid progression, if that's of
interest to you: http://clickthelightwell.blogspot.com/
Feb 7th 2011 8:27AM My own blog has been picking up pace, for those interested in an account of our embarrassing (but hilarious) encounter with Artramedes recently, please visit http://clickthelightwell.blogspot.com
