Does WoW need more minigames? {WoW}

Mar 9th 2012 7:33PM Daily quests DEFINITELY need to be more entertaining, like the Ramkahen daily where you go all Gallager on a bunch of pygmies. So making daily quests into fun little mini-games seems to be the answer.

Hey, you're gonna rep and gold anyway. Might as well have a little fun doing it, right?

Feb 10th 2012 10:11PM Why has everyone and their cousin done a Cataclysm-based Parody song of R.E.M.'s "End of the World" and yet there exists not a single Cataclysm MV of Matchbox Twenty's "How Far We've Come?"

Feb 7th 2012 6:19PM I've asked this question on the official WoW forums, but never really got a satisfactory answer. Probably because I wasn't phrasing it right, so I'll ask it here in a way that hopefully makes sense. Warning; very noobish question ahead.

How do I know when I've hit the soft cap? Of any stat, really.

And if the answer is "when you start seeing diminishing returns," how do I tell if my returns are diminishing? As far as I know, there's no little indicator on my armory page that says anything along the lines of "you've hit the soft cap on this stat. Stop enchanting for it. You're good."

Feb 4th 2012 4:22PM Any word yet on MoP's system requirements?

I got a little 10.5.8 MacBook that can just barely run Cataclysm. Just wondering if I should start saving money for a new computer now.

Jan 24th 2012 1:43AM Any word on system requirements for MoP yet? I worry that my little 10.5.8 MacBook won't be able to handle MoP (It can barely run Cata). Should I start saving up for a new laptop now?

Breakfast Topic: Is that you? {WoW}

Jan 14th 2012 6:03PM I'm a roleplayer. I use WoW as a medium for my story-telling. Thus, I view all my characters not as extensions of my own personality, but rather as my creations. My "children" if you will.

That's why if anyone tries to ERP with my female goblin hunter, who is the apple of my eye, my most likely reaction would be to threaten them with a shotgun.

Nov 18th 2011 4:33PM Whatever happened to that bit of news about new armor pieces being available at level 80 in Patch 4.3? You guys speculated that it could be indicative of players being able to roll characters at level 80.

Ah. Here it is.

I haven't seen any news stories on it since then. What happened? Did it get bunked? As an altoholic, I was kinda hoping to be able to roll toons at level 80.

Nov 7th 2011 5:18PM I actually kinda like the Tier 12 Death Knight set, enough so to transmogrify my DK's current armor set into it.

Is that wrong?

Breakfast Topic: Do you plan on playing a monk? {WoW}

Oct 24th 2011 3:50PM I plan on rolling a monk since they can heal. I've got a high-level Resto Druid and found through him that I LOVE healing. I recently made a vow to have an 85 of every healing class. A resto shammy, holy pally, and a holy / disc bank alt priest are all already in the works. Why not add a healing monk to my lineup?

Raid Leader: "Okay. We need a healer."
Me: *presents five different healing characters* "Pick your poison, boss."

Sep 24th 2011 5:16PM I recently downloaded Mogit, but I think I'm having a problem.

Under "select a category," I only have one option; my wishlist. Which currently has nothing in it.

Shouldn't there also be other stuff besides "wishlist?" Like, one-handed swords, two-handed swords, etc.? Is this a glitch and I need to re-install? Is this just how Mogit starts out, and I need to do something to add more options? If so, how am I supposed to do that?
