I hear what your saying, but it hasn't been THAT bad on my realm since BC days, when they ran amock all over the place.
Ever since Bliz made it so you cannot chat/talk on a trial account, the spammers all but vanished.
Ok, except the characters falling out of the sky to spell messages, but for some reason I havnt even seen THAT since Cataclysm came out. *shrugs*. Besides, I always found that amusing anyway. All of SW would just screw with them when they appeared. :)

Jan 28th 2011 3:49PM I hear ya. Bliz needs more chat bans. I think if you violate the chat rules (verbal abuse, trolling, whatever), Bliz should just make it so you cannot use the chat channels for a week or something and they should actually ENFORCE it actively.
It will never happen, though. :/

Jan 28th 2011 3:44PM Copyright laws may not apply in other countries but there are other ways Bliz could finally end the problem once and for all.
What about going after the gold BUYERS? People get their account flagged for such a thing, like...multiple times before actually getting banned. (My friend bought gold and was warned like 3 times)
If Bliz truly wants to end this business once and for all, they need to make buyers think twice about buying gold. How about a perma account ban...first offense, no questions asked. I understand they do not do this because they don't want to loose subscribers, but after a few ban waves, you can bet that the amount of buyers would plummet, thus ending the gold seller's business all together.
And as I said before, since gold sellers get their gold from hacked accounts. Just give us all free authenticators, and make it so we cannot log in without one.

I don't see why Bliz can't just stop being so greedy, and allow authenticators to be totally 100% free. In my opinion, one should have been included in EVERY box.
Problem solved. Period.
