The Queue: Hey it's Thursday, and that's awesome {WoW}

May 5th 2011 1:15PM I really have no idea of how it's works inside xpacs.
I'm pretty sure the bonuses we have now are different from what we had in BC and Wrath (I may be wrong, since I started playing in this xpac).

It's just so awesome to see new bonuses in the new tier of PvE gear that I got hopes that the bonuses from PvP sets get less... lame.
Come on, fiery stuff IS awesome. Let me bring fiery stuff into my arena enemies.

The Queue: Hey it's Thursday, and that's awesome {WoW}

May 5th 2011 12:24PM So, noob question here:

Tier 12 set bonuses just got out and they are awesome.
Together with 4.2 we will have Season 10 coming along (new conquest point based gear)
Will the new PvP gear tier set have new bonuses? Or is it just the same bonuses we had in Vicious gear?

Ty in advance.

Apr 18th 2011 12:55PM Q for the Q:

So... this has been intriguing me for a while...
Here in Wowinsider, when it comes to PvE, everyone has something to say.. everyone contribute someway. Everyone has gone through some kind of experience, or downed all raid bosses of certain game content. That is, they find that part of the game relatively easy to go after. Every week's class column or patch note analysis consists on a PvE overall effect and when changes occur everyone tend to 'blame' PvP as wishing PvP never existed.

But when it comes to PvP, the vast majority goes with "I can't do well in PvP, too complex for me". Or stuff like that. For instance the discussion a few days ago about leveling a char at a PvP realm. I was surprised so many people would tell someone not to level in a PvP realm because it's a nightmare. I'm not discussing that here, but my point is: Why is there so much "avoidance" on the PvP subject in general here at WoWinsider?

ps: if this makes to The Queue eventually, feel free to cut unimportant things off.

Breakfast Topic: Have you ever lost your nerve? {WoW}

Apr 12th 2011 9:09AM I lost my nerve when I started doing 3v3 with guildies... mage and DK to be exact.
Problem is the mage was arcane... and didn't want to switch specs. So those were really hard times.

About healing heroics, etc...
I have been doing PvP and PvE with my pally (holy) and I really don't see why people complain so much. I guess it's bad habits from WotLK. I'm currently on 358 iLvl (pve and pvp) really close to BiS provided from askmrrobot for pre raids. So any PUG I go for heroics is easy healing.... never run below 70% mana.

Of course there are "those" people who don't know a boss' mechanics and die in 5 seconds.

Gold Capped: Can you ever have too many alchemists? {WoW}

Apr 7th 2011 1:30PM MAN! That made me lol SO hard.

WoW Rookie: How to become a PvP legend, step 1 {WoW}

Apr 7th 2011 10:34AM Ok, if I got it right, you have issues driving with your mouse (aka turning left and right) and clicking name plates (mid screen) of bars (top right or w/e).
I'm a holy paladin and I'm at 1600 rating (not that much, but should mean something) and 3,4k resil.
I have SUF (shadowed frames) as my bars addon, and I don't have a single problem clicking my arena mates health bars to heal them, since healing doesn't require you to be facing them.
As for interrupts, stuns, disables, I like using focus macros, so I just set my focus to the healer and blast away my skills without having to target them.
Another issue would be not having hotkeys for all (I mean ALL) your skills... clicking those little squares is a great time loss, plus, it will make your mouse maneuvers slower.
Right now I'm not using any plate addons, but it would be a nice addition to make targetting easier (since it's right in your face). Suggestions accepted.

If you have any other doubt about it, feel free to ask.

Breakfast Topic: The most memorable raid interruption {WoW}

Mar 18th 2011 8:55AM It was a 5 man low level dungeon...
We were in the beggining of the dungeon and it droped a greenie BoE weapon that both shammy and hunter could use. Both rolled need and Shammy won. Then, all of a sudden, a priest (same guild as hunter) starts freaking out, yellling at the shammy. I was like "ok, let's calm down, it was a normal need roll". And both hunter and priest started a crazy talk about nonsense that lasted a good 5 mins. In the end both left the dungeon and I was like "thanks god they left" just to read the shammy's following message "you guys are stupid" and leaving. Note that at this point both the hunter and the priest had already left. The other dps then said "wow.. that was random" and we finished it with a new group.

The Light and How to Swing It: Basic retribution paladin macros {WoW}

Mar 16th 2011 10:02AM Can anyone share a macro that does this:
Set focus on my target ( I imagine this can be a separate macro, such as the one listed above 'vanye111')
Use rebuke on my focus if focus exists, if not, use rebuke on my target. (note that if focus does not exists and I use rebuke on the target, this can't add this target to focus).

I play a Holy Paladin at arenas and it's my job to interrupt heals, so yeah... this is freaking important.
