Oct 31st 2011 6:05PM Other than my long term desire to be a melee healer (monk!! /squeeeee!) for some twisted reason, I am looking forward to the priest the most in the expansion. I guess I'll have to dust her off here soon to get spells feeling comfy again, lol.

Jul 1st 2011 12:17PM We had a very similar thing happen in my old guild, however H in our case wasn't a required component in our raids. In the end(in the 4 months after the relationship started), the relation ship crashed, P stopped raiding, and H moved out of guild too. online relationships between raiders is dangerous...esp when one or both are key in your raid team. Recruit to fill their spots. You guys are all friends, friends don't leave friends hanging.

Mar 1st 2011 4:22PM last week I actually swapped my EJ standard 3/7/31 to the TC 3/7/31 simply because I found I really did have the down time where I'd cast a few healing waves just to see about proccing a buff or something when healing was at a lull. I'm in 12/12 25 man content....moving into HMs...I really like the spec. for chain pulling trash its EPIC.

For aw crap moments of having no mana, I typically have enough for a few LBs ( which I actually have bound as an alt modifier to my HW key for harm targets) for a chance at more mana to throw more than one or two cruddy-nigh-useless HWs in hopes of enough for a healing rain or riptide with a few to eat up TW buffs.

Even stacking spirit as much as I have been ( almost 2800 atm no procs) I like it for having the higher uptime of healing rain and being able to toss HS around more when there is dmg to warrant it, without worrying too much about how much mana it devours.

Feb 28th 2011 4:02PM While I have swapped mid-cata raiding to a healer, my lock was my long time main and LOVED playing her. only swapped to fill guild balance needs. I have to say I like how they changed soul shards. don't think of it as old school shards. its our special alt power now. I cannot say I like the regeneration (or lack there of in single boss fights with no adds) which can be a full eff job if you forget to suck souls from the air before your tank pulls. Even mages can conjure mana gems in combat, holy power in combat, combo points only combat. perhaps it should be 15 sec=1 shard, meaning full regeneration over 45 seconds of your three shards, and soulburning to use your max number of shards you have at any given time to do the proportionate effect. IE using soulburn while you have one soul shard available would yield a 16% movement speed effect from a teleport or proportionately adjusting the drain life for the number of soul shards applied. However perhaps having an instant soulfire every 45 seconds would be too advantageous in maintaining the improved soul fire buff for destro. If this was the case, I think that since thats destro only thing in this xpac, perhaps adjusting it to work with chaos bolt instead would be better.
