It's like a secret Warp Zone like in the old Super Mario Bros. Game :) You have to go down the green pipe in Netherstorm to get access to the TARDIS :)
Nov 28th 2011 4:55PM Not every guild has a Friends and Family rank -- I tell everyone who wants their brother/sister/BF/GF/Whatever to join that we have expectations of mutual respect and non-drama. If the family member/friend can't abide by that, then they don't get invited or they get the boot. I have booted my own RL friends from my own guild for not being able to control themselves.
With regards to the drama at hand - We don't have enough info to judge the husband as a jerk. From the way it is being told, he sounds like he is being a jerk. However, based on her reaction to not being accepted into a top-raiding guild, I don't think we are getting the full picture. There is a disconnect somewhere if she thought that she would be accepted into that guild based on her gear / knowledge rather than her husband's membership. If she HAD expected to be let in based on her husband's membership, then she wouldn't have mentioned the other stuff.
I also agree with the commenter who pointed out that the Drama Mamas were harsh in their advice for only hearing one side of the story. I understand that they know that there are jerks around who act like that, that being said, being so judgmental and vitriolic doesn't help especially if they are supposed to be giving objective advice.
Oct 31st 2011 12:26PM Q for the Q - Has Blizzard ever considered or rejected the idea of a Guild Store? I realized the need for it when I was looking to buy bags and I would rather pay someone in Guild rather than buy from some stranger in the AH. Make it like a tab in the Guild Bank that the Guild Leader can control. All proceeds go to the Guild Bank and a portion of the proceeds can supplement donators' Guild Repair limits or something like that.
