Dec 2nd 2011 7:09PM It's also subtly mentioned that Nozmordu's vision of his death wasn't as Moruzond, and that by alterting the timelines in such a way will cause a shift/event that kickstarts the birth of the infinites.
He mentions the hour of twilight being his death, but it is implied it's in his Broze form, not as an Infinite. TFH anyone?
Oct 22nd 2011 9:21PM Thanks for clearing that up. It'll be interesting to see where the few remaining Scourge go, Bolvar's lot and the independent ones. I look forward to it in an expansion or two! ;)
Oct 22nd 2011 7:03PM On a serious note here, from a Lore point, I wonder what the Undead will be doing... whether it will be proclaiming their loyalty and actions for the Lich King (Bolvar now if he is good, so it wouldn't make sense for him to create them as a menace...) or whether they have been detached from the LK control and are now fending for themselves. Interesting options here. Please note, I havenot played throughthe new 1-60,so haven't felt anyof the Undead repercussions after Northrend.
Oct 22nd 2011 5:36PM Some better ask if the person who Designed the new Paladin arena for 4.3 is getting a promotion
Oct 21st 2011 6:49PM N'ZOTH!
it' not WoW without some corruption from some of your favourite old gods!
Oct 20th 2011 9:27AM I enjoyed the questing in Wrath because even if you weren't a Lore fanatic, you WANTED to kill the Lich King. It was very clear from the off why you were in Northrend and his presence was felt in every zone. You felt compelled to fight him, and even if you didn't know his backstory or past, you knew he was a threat to be dealt with.
Cataclysm did this, but not so much. We know Deathwing is a big bad aspect o'death, but (in my opinion) his threat is not felt as much as the Lich King.
I play with both my dad and my younger step brother. Neither of them are into Lore like I am and don't really understand why Deathwing IS mad and don't really feel compelled to kill him, other than that they have been told to. Lich King was different, because they WANTED to,even though they had no clue to who Nur'zul was
Oct 16th 2011 7:01PM Concerning time-lines, I found it interesting that whilst questing through Hyjal, someone said that the struggles with the Lich King and the events in Northrend happens 5-YEARS AGO. I will try and find a source for this. If anyone wants to look, I'm fairly certain it was around the Godrinn ancient quests.
Sep 14th 2011 5:19AM I only wish for one thing...
On use effect: SWIRLY BALL!
Sep 5th 2011 5:26PM I think Zanzil has too many AoE abilities to NOT take Runty's death into the equation. (let alone the zombies/Dire Troll targeting Runty - a possibility) Also, as stated before, the dogs are cleaver, and will probably drink the right cauldrons to resist and deal with attacks when necessary.
Jul 9th 2011 12:38PM For a Deathwing fight, I think we'll most likely face him in his Human form first, then when he goes into Dragon form, we might take to the skies, but instead of an EoE style thing, I quite like the idea of a Gunship fight ala ICC. Gunships in Deeepholme and all that.
We're also more than likely going to have support as I doubt, strong as we are now, we're going to be able to handle an aspect corrupted by the Old Gods and stronger than the existing aspects.
