Know Your Lore: Zul'Gurub, a historical survey {WoW}

May 11th 2011 4:29PM I REALLY hope they expand on this story. Just because we went in to the Zul's and kicked a few Trolls around surely doesn't quell the Zandalari threat? And I'm eager to see what happens with Hakkar....

Breakfast Topic: Do your kids play WoW with you? {WoW}

Apr 23rd 2011 8:28AM I use WoW to keep in touch with my dad. He started up before me, but when my mum and him split up a few years ago I signed up to keep in touch whilst he worked away a lot. Now I'm 18, moved out, and I still play alongside him. Whenever I'm away on tour I always bring my laptop out so we keep in touch and can raid and father and son!

Two Bosses Enter: Karsh Steelbender vs. Forgemaster Throngus {WoW}

Apr 18th 2011 1:43PM If this is on neutral ground, with NO lava pillar for Krash to get super-heated, Throngus' abilities can cause pools of lava (heroic mode encombured) and a flamethrower type ability. Krash can still gain stacks of super-heated even without his pillar; something you might want to concider when voting. No one has taken into acount Krash's adds that will emerge when super-heated happens too (I think, I might be wrong)

The Queue: Kiwi & Crater Face (the saddest Queue in the world) {WoW}

Mar 29th 2011 7:48PM Question - What/Who's tail is that in Zul'Drak, the big snake that runs underneith the colossus boss room?

All the World's a Stage: Playing the villain {WoW}

Mar 27th 2011 4:31PM The way I tackle this, and one of the easiest ways imo, (if you're familiar wih the franchise) is to take the stance of Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z (the over 9000 guy for those who don't know)
He comes to earth to take it over and eventually gets defeated. Through out the series he starts to group together with the heroes if the interests benifit him, if there is something to gain personally, or if it's united against a greater threat to both. As time goes on he eventually turns good, but he does have his evil lapses if benifits to him arise or if there is a chance for him to gain greater power, to the point he becomes a villian again.
Even when "good" the character can be moody, selfish, introspective, and disrespectful to everyone around him. You can take elements of this is you join a guild of heroes, raiding dungeons, and uniting against a greater threat.
Of course, you can augment the character however you wish, this is just how I play mine.

Breakfast Topic: What do you listen to while you play WoW? {WoW}

Mar 26th 2011 9:49AM Math-Rock. Anything by This Town Needs Guns, Colour, Pharaohs, and favorites Blakfish.
Trying to work out time signatures takes my mind off the grind!

Breakfast Topic: Care to share any recent embarrassing moments? {WoW}

Mar 21st 2011 8:36AM I tend to forget I'm not in stealth when trying to Sap mobs....yea. Especially in Heroics.

Around Azeroth: The sweet escape {WoW}

Feb 9th 2011 12:54PM Brand New/TBS debate on WowInsider?! well I never....

Jessie Lacey from Brand New wrote this song (seventy times seven) first, about John Nolan from TBS sleeping with Jessie's girl.
TBS fired back with "There's no I in Team" using lyrics from "Seventy Times Seven" to make it an obvious retaliation.
Both good songs. Both guys friends now, so all forgotten about.

And neither play WoW...
