Aug 3rd 2011 8:21AM The Death Knight starting area, more specifically the quest that involved killing the villagers. Spying on them was no problem…stealing horses was easy. However, the killing of the villagers, some begging for their lives as they try to get to safety…that made me a little sick to my stomach.
Jul 21st 2011 1:58PM Go and get "Leatrix Latency Fix" on Wow Interface. It's a free addon to your computer that helps the communication between your computer and the network. It took my Latency from 300ms to 100ms. The website is very informative about exactly what it does and how it does it.
Mar 21st 2011 3:43PM I ran across a game one day going through the old floppy disks next our 8088. When I saw Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy game, I was instantly excited. There was a game?!
Taking into account my fond memories of playing 8-bit color games on this dear old computer, I slid the old floppy in, dusted off my DOS command memories, and ran the .exe file
At first I thought something was VERY wrong. Where are the graphics? The greet screen? Why is the computer describing something using text.
After asking my father and learning that in fact, there used to be games all in text just like this, I promptly exited the game, shut down the computer, and went back to my blessed Internet.
And I thought "The Black Caldron" and "California Gold Rush" and "Leisure Suit Larry" were old!
Mar 18th 2011 8:36AM Not a raid, but a 5-man pug, one of the DPS stops right in the middle and states "Gotta go, the pool's on fire." We replaced him and had a good laugh the rest of the run.
Mar 17th 2011 2:02PM What the healer says: "Hey, can we please have the mage sheep the healer? It would make the encounter go much smoother?"
What the tank hears: "Yo, stupid, you can't do your job and your momma is ugly."
How can we get the idea across that CC'ing is viable, preferable, and it keeps the stress levels down and lets the healer conserve mana and keep everyone alive?
Mar 16th 2011 2:57PM So we have to wait until next Wednesday to get another shadow priest version of Spiritual Guidance? Let's just hope Fox isn't late and is "Back in Time."
Yeah, that was the best I could do...
Mar 9th 2011 4:34PM I tried for a little while, but for me personally, I found it to be more distracting than anything. I specifically tried it in Magmaw (and we used the strategy where all but 1 or 2 stood melee) but was scared of falling off the cliff or backing up too much and becoming ranged during the fight and have a pillar of fire sprout under me. IMO, try and see if it works for yourself.
Mar 9th 2011 3:37PM With Shadow priests now using Shadow Word: Death as a staple in their rotation, I was having problems determining when an enemy was at 25% or under as my health bars were set to numbers and not percentages. I just recently installed an addon called Target Health Percent and it worked like a charm. Now, I can target someone and it will show the percentage health in a little box, and is very customizable and user friendly.
Mar 9th 2011 8:45AM My favoite ability has got to be Mind Control. You get to play any humanoid enemy NPC you want to, and let me tell you, some of their abilities makes one feel like a Game Master. Buffing the tank with 90% damage reduction, 100% more damage done, and bringing his health to 600k...yes please! Healing your party for 45k a second for 8 seconds...I'll take that anyday. You can be any class in the game, cause sick amounts of damage, and heal more with 1 button than your holy spec could ever dream of. This isn't even including PvP potential. Yes, I love my Mind Control.
Mar 4th 2011 8:38AM It seems that with priests, you either love them or hate them (playing them, I mean.) I know many people who can't stand to play a priest in any spec, and then people like me who adore their priest.
Personally, I think Paladins are the one class I will never play.
