Feb 18th 2011 7:52AM I use the "old" cablebound Naga and omfg.. i'd NEVER EVER want another mouse (except another Naga :>). The buttons @the side are so usefull, even though it is "only" the num pad but the numpad was useless before because u had to take ure hand off the mouse or off the movementkeys.. and both is bad. The numpad on the mouse however was and is a revelation for me! I bound my 3 actionbars i use for my chars with my standard keys+nage and wow goes smoother than never before. the only time i take my hand off my mouse is when i flame my raidgrp :)
This mouse, wether with cable or without, is a absolute musthave for MMO gamers!
And do not say "oh bullshit, i dont need that stuff! fancy new age rubbish".. I thought so myself, i tried it and i never regraded it... fantastic mouse, durable and fast reatcion.. hell i even play fps with it and switch weapons and stuff.. totally love this mouse
Totem Talk: Restoration shaman healing post-patch 4.0.6 {WoW}
Feb 16th 2011 7:00AM (somehow some stats differ, but the ones i posted above are ingame and selfbuffed so maybe thats why they differ)
In Raids i get the full 25man buffssets, i take a Int Flask and Int buff food.
I heal with this macro:
#showtooltip Chain Heal
/use 10
/cast [@mouseover,nodead,help][@target,nodead,help][@player] Chain Heal
(Chain Heal just as example. Same macro for all the healing spells.). I am an Engineer so i have the +450 Int on my Handslots and activate them whenever they are rdy with my macros.
I also use Riptide whenever it is ready to get the maximum efficency out of it and "train" for the 4piece bonus once i hit it
I'm also watching my Water and Earthshield closely so the never fall off and use Manatide early to reuse it in the endphase of a bossfight where it might be needed again. I'll also start to use Pots now, but not sure which atm..
But overall i'm pretty confident to say that i know what i'm doing with my Resto Shaman and also i'm not stupid and just push every1 to 100% no matter what.. i understand the new ways of healing very well and adapt to them nicely.. I try to minimze my manalosses by e.g not putting down all 4 totems in my raid, mainly healingstream because some other class can buff e.g. stoneskin o strength of earth.. but still i cant push my healing. i really hope u can give me some advise or tipps on how to improve my shaman
