Breakfast Topic: What's the longest you've ever farmed for something? {WoW}

Sep 30th 2011 9:13AM I'm a big pet collector and Repoholic and I've had my fair share of farming for things. Guidlies say I just enjoy the torture of farming for things normal people would never farm for. The Hyacinth Macaw (pre-cata) and Crawling Hand both took me 4-5 months of killing pirates and digging in Kalimdor until I thought I was gonna go crazy.

Rep wise, well of course Hydraxian Waterlords took 3-4 years. Winterspring took a few months back before the new dailies. In fact I was so annoyed when they put in the dailies I haven't even done them on any alts. I refuse to after I suffered through the hundreds of times I did the same three quests over and over. Who is with me on that one?!

Breakfast Topic: What's your personal patch day history? {WoW}

May 27th 2011 10:05AM I can't really remember my first patch but there are a few that stick out to me. I can't remember the number it, but it was early/mid BC. I just hit 70 the day before on my priest. It took me forever, there were 1/3 the amount of flight paths there are now, 1 graveyard a zone (maybe) and that patch added more of both and cut the amount of xp you needed to get to 60. Bad timing on my side, but then everyone else got their alts to 70 pretty fast...

The next one I remember the most is Shattered Sun. It was such a neat event and everyone was helping and doing dailies, if you could get a mob, and everyone was running MgT, if the servers would stay up.

Breakfast Topic: Does WoW ever creep you out? {WoW}

May 19th 2011 10:26AM Yeah, it has been years since I have read it but I still remember how creepy it was. It gave a new dark meaning to the instance. I just remember feeling like I was reading a Stephen King novel. haha

Breakfast Topic: Does WoW ever creep you out? {WoW}

May 19th 2011 9:34AM Whale Sharks. /Shiver

Also, Scholomance. That place is 10 levels of creepy. I'm not sure if the quest chain is still available but there used to be that ghost couple that stood outside the entrance who told their story about being tortured and test subjects for months, then they were fed to the zombies. Ugh, creepy.

Breakfast Topic: What's the saddest quest in WoW? {WoW}

May 12th 2011 8:56AM This took me a while to make a decision. At first I wanted to say Rheastrazsa in the Badlands. Then I thought of Stonetalon and all the poor druid students and a tauren who encourages you to try save them. Then there was the Lashtail hatchling in STV who followed me around and I took care of only to have him taken away to be the next raptor boss (although thanks to 4.1 I have him back!). But then I remembered Gilneas. There are so many points while questing there when my heart just broke. The whole time you are fighting this fight that can't be defeated and so many lives were taken or changed forever. When Greymane's son died, it made the mourning of a nation seem small to watching him mourn over his son.

Breakfast Topic: The curious phenomenon of "reverse burnout" {WoW}

May 10th 2011 8:20AM I too am a raider at heart but currently my guild is kinda at a stand-still raiding wise. So, too keep myself busy I'll do one of a few hings. Pick a zone to quest in that I have not done yet (I love WoW lore) or I hope my friends are chatty and I dig or farm for whatever pet I currently have my eye on. Achievements are always a great way to stay entertained. Pick a random achievement you haven't done yet and try to get it.

Breakfast Topic: Have you met any WoW players in real life? {WoW}

May 6th 2011 11:01AM I have never met any of my WoW friends IRL. But I did meet my husband on another MMO 8 years ago. Since we were teenagers at the time and lived 10 hours apart, only seeing each other a few times a year he got me to start playing WoW with him. And now we have a great group of friends in WoW that I talk to on a regular basis and not just in Azeroth. We call, text, Facebook, IM, etc. throughout the day. If I didn't live across the country from them I would definitely meet them. Hopefully one day the opportunity will come around.

Breakfast Topic: Who are the most robust characters of the expansion? {WoW}

May 4th 2011 10:57AM I have so many favorites! I loved Redridge with Keeshan and his gang. Then I was so excited to go to Burning Steppes and find him there again! Fiona's caravan is also a favorite. I also enjoyed Hillsbrad and the characters you meet as a quest giver... Dumass and Johnny Awesome made me giggle.

However, my favorite quest story-teller will always be Azuregos. Anyone that did the Scepter questline before Cata would most likely agree with me. So I was so excited when I was leveling my goblin and found him again. His ramblings and jokes about always getting killed by players just make him such a fun character.

Breakfast Topic: Your very own NPC {WoW}

May 3rd 2011 9:30AM I am pretty obsessed with collecting random pointless items that turn you into something, summon a guardian, shoot rainbows, make my mount a large ghost...you get the picture. Well I'd like to be a vendor who sells stuff like that. A specialty trinket vendor I suppose. I could have a title under my name and be dressed in some crazy outfit. My store would be located in Booty Bay and all the summoned canons, peasants, goblin nurses, etc would be hanging out in there.

Breakfast Topic: Has your account ever been compromised? {WoW}

Apr 19th 2011 10:39AM I was sitting in class waiting for it to begin when a friend and guildy walks in and asks me why I deleted my priest. I started to panic. Why would I delete my main of 4 years? Being one of those students always had their laptop, I quickly logged on to find three of my characters had been completely deleted and the rest of them were wiped clean. I then noticed my husband was online (he was out fishing). I logged out of my account to log into his while my friend was reporting it to find they had put an authenticator on his account so I couldn't even log into it. Thankfully with the help of my friend and a nice GM both us got everything back within a few days. A week later authenticators came out for iPhones and we both quickly got one.
