Apr 5th 2011 1:43PM Alright, I'll give this a shot.
1st phase starts as soon as you enter the house. The boss will proceed to run in to the bathroom and lock the door. DPSs job is to beat down the door while tank kites 2 annoying dogs around preventing their incessant barking from irritating the DPS too much. Phase ends when door is at 0%.
2nd phase begins now. This is the hectic phase. Tank must prevent boss from leaving the bathroom by any means necessary. The boss will use a series of random attacks in this round and healers have to be on their toes to keep raid members topped off. Attacks include shower curtain envelopment which blinds the tank for 10 seconds, wildly swinging of dull rambo knife I found while cleaning out storage or flailing fists which can hit random melee, and slippery floor. (Blood and water pool on the ground to make a "slippery zone" which should be avoided when possible)
3rd phase - Escape phase. Its a bit like the Halls of Reflection where you run away from the Lich King. Eventually, about 15 minutes in to the fight, the local guards arrive due to a phone call made in first phase. This is arguably the toughest part of the fight. Depending on how long it took you to finish phases one and two determines the amount of guards faced in this phase. Overgeared players may avoid this phase entirely if finishing the fight in under 8 minutes. Will be patched once Boss moves to better neighborhood. The guards have a ranged attack that can one shot anyone besides tank, have a ranged stun and a nasty melee. They also have the ability to immobilize any one in melee range with the "Handcuffs" ability and can call in backup at any time, increasing the amount of guards. Hunter traps, rings of ice and any other immobilizing and fear effect are to be saved for this point. The only thing you can do is run far enough to be able to mount and get away.
Cool looking rambo knife I found when cleaning out storage. (Dagger Main hand Melee)
Oversized band shirt (Cloth caster chest)
USB flash drive. (trinket, saves one ability that can be instant cast at any time.)

Apr 1st 2011 12:25PM Aww they are gonna have a picnic by the meeting stones so they can be alone.
Apr 1st 2011 9:28AM I don't mind outland too much really, I didn't start playing until WotLK anyways so I didn't play it a zillion times and usually enjoy leveling when I get there. I like the sense of danger a fel reaver stomping around gives and the sense of urgency to get some quests done to upgrade my crappy vanilla equipment. One thing I will say would be cool would be if blizzard went back and installed a wintergrasp-like BG to the outlands. Maybe a giant where the purpose was to summon a demon to help destroy the other side, or rebuild a fel reaver with parts from the battleground. This would give people something to look forward to while leveling outlands. In northrend I just wish more people played WG besides 85s.
Mar 29th 2011 9:37AM Always thought Sun Rock retreat would be a nice place to kick back and throw a teepee up. Hell, it even sounds like a resort area.
Mar 28th 2011 11:51AM I dunno why JCs cant just make some sort of figurine for a mount. A crystal bird would be pretty cool looking. Scribes already have some origami stuff they can make, a giant origami swan would look pretty neat.Leatherworkers could have an animated saddle for a mount, I think that would be appropriate and you can use it for riding and flying. Maybe blacksmiths could just have magical horseshoes they can put on any mount and make them able to fly? It would definitely be unique and workable I think. Flying around on a giant mammoth would be pretty epic.
Mar 28th 2011 9:04AM I like the hot air balloon a lot. You could have your factions insignia on the side too. Just curious how big it would be though compared to the rest of the mounts.
Mar 23rd 2011 8:46PM Q4Q:
There are quite a few examples of Titans and their constructs being subverted, but are there any examples of burning legion forces turning to the other dark side? I was just curious what would happen if a portal big enough to allow sargerus through was opened in the presence of an old god. Would they fight, deal or team up or is the scope of this too grand for a simple mortals mind to comprehend?
Mar 20th 2011 2:58PM I dunno about new classes, I would rather see a fully revamped profession system. It would be kinda cool to have class specific abilities depending on what profs you have. Like druid leatherworkers could get a small bonus to armor, while rogue leatherworkers could craft a bolo that slows enemies. Mage miners could get access to trinkets crafted from different ores as you level while warrior miners got the toughness, and hunter miners got an extra 2 yard range (bigger arms hah). I dunno, the professions are just a grind fest until you real whatever final tier of it.
Mar 19th 2011 5:16PM This is going to sound crazy but it makes me laugh and has some cool imagery when I think about it. How about making wands count as a weapon instead of having its own slot and having an autoshot while you were casting. Now make arcane mages the masters of the wand. They would have wand damage increase, attack speed increases and be the only mages able to dual wield wands at higher levels. There is your mobility. Add a couple cool spell procs based off your wand attacks and poof, a unique way to cast spells. The cool thing is arcane would be super flexible, able to bring many different damage types of wands depending on the encounter. You could keep decent DPS with wands while casting at other targets too. Downfall would be vulnerable to disarming in PvP. I'm not saying all damage comes from wands, just makes a different way of having constant mobile dps with a new mechanic. I dunno, I think blizzard could make something like that fun to play. I would definitely give it a shot.
Mar 16th 2011 3:04PM Eh, mind sear is all right. I don't really see SPs really having a need to be big AOErs to be honest. Instead of just doing straight damage why not add some sort of utility to mind sear. Maybe make it so it spreads a SW:P to any target that doesn't have one. Maybe add some sort of shadow implosion to disperse as another aoe type effect? Maybe something along the lines of:
1st second, your crit score doubles.
2nd second, Any DOT on all targets in X radius is immediately finished and the target takes X amount of the damage left as one big hit.
3rd second you go back to normal.
So it gives you a chance to do one big AOE every 2 minutes (1:30 glyphed) but you need to keep on top of your dots and stuff. Anyways just a dumb idea.
