Breakfast Topic: How did you get started? {WoW}
Feb 3rd 2012 10:39AM I first found out about MMOs with Ragnarok Online, but I didn't like it much.
My sophomore year of college, this boy I was dating had just started playing this brand new game "World of Warcraft." I wasn't much of a gamer, except Final Fantasy, so I had never played or heard of the Warcraft RTS games.
I didn't pick up the game, though, until two years later when my uncle was engrossed in it and convinced me to take on a 7-day trial. I had just signed up for the 3D virtual chat world Second Life and was quickly disillusioned with it, so when I jumped into the game, I was drawn into that and quit Second Life.
I've played World of Warcraft off and on since then (September 2007).

Jan 23rd 2012 10:09AM Maybe Galakrond was just the longest with his tail. Then again, inside them there's a whole damn temple and several rooms. You need a ground mount to effectively get around.
