Mar 4th 2012 3:30PM The squish will affect everything, the other thing that has been talked about is mega damage. So an attack can do 12 Mega Damage in place of 120,000 damage....etc
I think condensing that way is a better idea than the squish only because it doesn't feel like a nerf, but more of a buff thing....But that is just me!
Oct 17th 2011 8:19AM I think its going to be some of the dwarf leaders, 3 is too many, and the "queen" has shifty eyes... That aside I think it would be Varian, he will run into Garroshs' fist and that will be the end of that!
Oct 13th 2011 12:31PM This was perfectly set up, anybody can set up to do such massive damage give the time, gear and energy. Good on him for doing it, it was an amazing crit, but how often is your enemy going to do everything to increase damage for you.
Again, it was really cool, but his dps output seemed close to normal when he was hitting regular targets not debuffed.
Although, in a BG i would love to have something like that just happen.
Oct 7th 2011 9:25AM agreed, and the differences are staggering, 34k+ frost mages, measured against less than 1k frost mages, your data will never reflect the true potential of a class. People who raid in frost are probably newer as well. The more raiding you do the more likely you are to switch to the "better" spec.
If most people here walked into a raid with a frost mage on heroic 25m firelands, they would hit the nearest exit before you would have time to say, let me change my spec. and the same goes for other classes, hunters also.
31k MM hunters measured against 1.5k BM, and roughly 8k SV. The scale is already tipped, and your only getting data from the top players. The top players raid in MM, so do the second tier raiders, so the data that your likely getting is from 3rd or 4th tier raiders, not as geared as your 1st tier raiders.
This isnt to say there are no top tier raiders who raid in BM, just few and far between. Using something like RaidBots to dictate how you should play takes the fun out of the game, sure I like to know my potential, but I like to know my true potential, not a skewed data source that leads people to believe things that are not necessarily true.
Oct 4th 2011 10:09AM OR, you could stick with your group, and help them get better, and progress further!
Sep 30th 2011 9:27PM Wowhead is permitted, they have an agreement with Blizzard if i remember correctly, so I think this might be part of why they can do it.
But I know I have seen wowhead listed on the community site at one point or another.
I think charging for an add-on SHOULD be allowed, personally, someone took the time to write a program, why should they be denied monetary gain for their work.
Mat, you don't write articles for WoW insider for free! So why should someone else, who put time and effort into something be denied. However, I must add that the terms and conditions say NO, so they should abide by the rules of the game.
Sep 28th 2011 9:25AM I think the enhancement flame shock/lava lash change might bring some reason to put fire nova back into the rotation on groups, and this is a good change I think. I am excited to see how it works out live.
I also think the weapon switching will not be needed anymore, and that will probably give me the extra time I need to get a good fire nova in.
For enhancement I think the changes are quite positive.
Sep 19th 2011 8:21AM I think its ok, wish they would expand on it, and maybe add some dungeon encounter in Deadmines, maybe go see the pirate in deadmines, have a drink and get another achievement. something not hard that even a level 15 group can do easily.
Just add a bit more flavor!
Sep 15th 2011 9:34AM hunters also...
Sep 15th 2011 9:33AM There are games that do use the class/race idea, I think back to the days of Everquest, where some items were class only, others race only. I don't think its limited that way tho, there are items that each class and race could have exclusive to them.
The totem poles for Tauren, undead get sythes, night elves get warglaives, worgen can get a claws or something, and so on.
I think there is a way to implement this, as it is not a new concept, even in games, it still allows game play to be proper and fair, and it keeps lore intact.
