Apr 3rd 2012 9:46AM A lifetime sub already available before the game even comes out...that usually isn't a good sign
Mar 30th 2012 9:58AM I play a plethora of MMO's but if I were to have to play one longterm game and only that one game I'd probably have to go with WoW
Mar 29th 2012 9:53AM Definitely not
Mar 28th 2012 10:08AM "Even the $5,000 spenders are not being exploited, they are just people who have found their big hobby."
And this is why I prefer the P2P system, it may seem more expensive at a glance, but it just tends to give you more bang for your buck. with $5,000 you can sub to an MMO for a little over 26 years. Especially considering how most P2P games aren't
" titles on the iOS and Android platforms"
Mar 28th 2012 10:01AM You don't
Betas are there to test the game and its features in order to provide feedback and weed out the bugs/flaws.
RP tends to involve the community more than the actual game mechanics and within a beta you usually don't have much of a community to RP with the people there tend to be there to either test bugs or get as much done before the beta session is over not to RP.
Mar 27th 2012 10:03AM I see why people are saying "just implement it" the locks want it, but keep in mind balancing. Locks would not truly have much avoidance and would have to be a primary if not purely mitigation tank, none of the tanks are this right now the current tanks and even the soon to be monk tank heavily on avoidance to be able to tank. If you have 3 (soon to be 4) tank classes who rely on avoidance and one that is mostly if not purely mitigtion you'll have problems balanacing, either warlock tanks will end up being the "ZOMG BEST TANK CLASS!" leaving the other 4 in the dust or the mitigation might be not be even comparable to the overall damage reduction of the other tanks and they would be left in the dust.
I would be fine with having lock tanks but not at the risk of screwing over the other 4 tank classes

The Pandaren and Draenei were both established in WC3:TfT that whole established lore argument doesn't really work especially when considering there were early models in vanilla WoW of Pandaren NPC's
Mar 23rd 2012 1:36AM @AlienFanatic sounds about right
Mar 23rd 2012 1:35AM @Cyroselle iirc they scrapped the whole no auto-attack feature and even if they haven't people are making it a much bigger issue than it even is. When I play WoW (warrior if it matters) auto attacks don't make up even 5% of my DPS/total attacks, hell most of the time they don't even make up 3% transitioning out of it really wouldn't be that far fetched, difficult, or as huge of a transition as people make it out to be
Mar 23rd 2012 1:31AM @(Unverified) I've read a few of the "recent" Warcraft books and if you read the quest text one thing that has come up throughout cata is how the cataclysm along with the battle against the Lich King and the entire Northrend offensive have caused a lack of resources on both sides, with both factions now putting in even more men and supplies towards bringing down deathwing it makes sense that both factions would be "supply starved" and see Pandaria as an imperialistic opportunity.
Both factions are in essence in their equivalent of The Great Depression
