Breakfast Topic: What will be your big story from the Mists of Pandaria press event? {WoW}

Mar 14th 2012 4:24PM I'm on pins and needles waiting for the announcement that Panda's as a new race was just a joke...something to stimulate conversation until the REAL new race was ready to be revealed on March 19th. Thank God for levity!

Win an Ask Mr. Robot app code from WoW Insider {WoW}

Jun 30th 2011 8:31PM Sweet... Just got my iPhone. Won't this be a perfect app to add to my empty app pages??? Bring it on! Thanks guys!

Raid Rx: Auditing the healing team {WoW}

Jun 18th 2011 10:24AM I got a real problem with anyone who infers that any role in this game is a "job." I play to get away from the job and real world BS. Come on Low, you and all hardcore raiders (who actually are in the minority in the WOW community) need to lighten up a bit. Not everyone has the same skill as someone like you and most of the other WOW Insider staff members who write in these columns who apparently don't have a life outside this game. This is supposed to be a fun game and if I have to be "reprimanded" and embarrassed publicly to , quote, do my job better, then something is out of whack. Yes we should all try to do the best we can if we play for a team, but I believe in the old adage "you get more bees with honey than with vinegar." Try using positive, encouraging conversation and coaching rather than negative degrading methods. And lastly, keep in mind raiding community, there is such a thing as the "Peter Principle", not everyone is capable of being a successful high end raiding healer. That's just the way it is. Maybe it's time to try something like oh say, profession crafting, PVP, role-playing, archeology adventures and a zillion other things this remarkable game offers besides raiding! Just my two cents.

Officers' Quarters: Firelands will not save your guild {WoW}

May 23rd 2011 7:33PM Ya know, after nearly 7 years of playing this game, and constantly listening to all the endless qq, I can remain silent no more. If you are bored with the game after only a few months since a new content patch hit then I submit that you are not experiencing all that Wow has to offer. Hardcore raiding guilds make up only a small minority of the WoW community. Many more of us, me included, actually play the game for many other reasons than endless gear progression chasing. Some of us love the Lore, many love questing and leveling alts and others live for BG encounters. I actually enjoy completing achievements, fulfilling archeology quests and yes even listening to the fantastic music in the game. There is FAR more to this game than end game boss chasing and if you are bored after a couple of months of new content than try experiencing the many and varied options offered by this unbelievably versatile yet complex phenomenon we call WoW. It's not just all about end-game! Try some of the in-between and you might actually find there is a world out there waiting for you. My two cents!
