Breakfast Topic: What's the one class you just can't stand? {WoW}

May 20th 2011 9:17AM I have never had an interest in shaman, and I can't really quantify why. I'd love to hear from people with shaman as mains who can give a bit of insight about why you love them.

Breakfast Topic: The curious phenomenon of "reverse burnout" {WoW}

May 10th 2011 9:19AM I keep hearing about all these guilds short a healer but I don't get much response when I post a LF guild. Perhaps it's just my server (Kor'Gall EU). My raiding days are limited to two, but those two are rock solid, short of an emergency I'm there; on time and prepared. Frustrating.

Breakfast Topic: The curious phenomenon of "reverse burnout" {WoW}

May 10th 2011 8:16AM I'm completely with Weston on this, I'm a raider - that's what I enjoy and where my best memories of WoW come from. Since the death of my guild in early Cata, where I was a core healer, I've been tagging along in a guild with a few RL friends. Which you think would be great, but their team is established and there's never a spot for me.

I get a go at a lacklustre alt run every now and then where no-one cares because they've done it before. So no kill shots, no excited vent chatter, nothing that makes raiding fun imo. I find myself levelling alts these days, which is fine and gets me closer to the goal having an 85 of every class, but I'd rather be raiding.

The Queue: American Old Gods {WoW}

Apr 15th 2011 11:36AM I was in Marks and Spencer (fairly posh UK shop) picking up lunch, wearing my 'For the Horde' t-shirt, when an impossibly tall American girl bellowed across from the deli ailse:

"YEEAAAHHH FOR THE HORDE"

Never seen so many shocked grannies nearly fall over their weekly shop. When I turned around she was flailing a wild /wave in my direction and her boyfriend smiled sheepishly. I gave an enthusiastic wave back, it made my day!

The Daily Quest: Mastering the game {WoW}

Apr 4th 2011 6:17PM A blog about PvE Holy priesting and the WoW community, as recently featured on PC Gamer, Massively and MMORPG.com because I made an ironic joke about Rift:

Officers' Quarters: Burnout already? {WoW}

Mar 21st 2011 9:35AM Good advice, too late in the case of my guild (drama here if you like:
http://clickthelightwell.blogspot.com/2011/03/just-like-that.html) but I hope a few stressed-out officers take heed. It's so important to communicate your intentions. They were the best guild I ever had, but they've burnt that bridge, and I'm not interested in knowing them if they do ever decide to come back - it could have been very different but for a bit of common decency.

The Daily Quest: Giving a few pointers {WoW}

Mar 19th 2011 3:50PM I have pointers to give; when you make a joke on your little blog, make sure the entire internet understands tongue-in-cheek humour or you'll end up splashed all over PC Gamer, Massively and MMORPG.com as a foaming at the mouth nerd-rager. It's pretty fascinating though:

World of Warcraft bloggers fight back against RIFT {Massively}

Mar 19th 2011 1:22PM @Pingles This is exactly right Pingles, it's intended as a tongue-in-cheek type of response. The fact I'm even talking about it at on a WoW blog is intended as hugely ironic, even if I didn't intend for this... whole thing. Rift really does take my interest, even though I'm still happy playing WoW, and I would like to read about it. On a Rift blog.
